U.S. Department of Treasury’s Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) Program FAQs

 

On May 6, 2022, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) released updated frequently asked questions (FAQs) regarding the Department of Treasury Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF).  The FAQs clarify when a mortgagee may place a foreclosure action on hold when a borrower has applied for or will be utilizing HAF funds.
