Jabra, what is WRONG WITH YOU? This is the third set of headphones I've tried, the third model, where you show pictures that have someone wearing your headphones with the mic on the left side. But then the headphones dont' allow it.

Who wears the mic on the right side with a cord that is too short to do anything with?

At l east the microphone quality appears to be better than the $300 wireless ones. But it's not even better than the cheaper ones I get from Sennheiser--and those I can actually wear on the left side of my face, AND have a longer cord.

and after all this...what is UP with messing with the volume of music? I get that you want to offer to protect my ears. but I want to disable this nonsense. and there's no option to do so. Madness

when i did NOT use these headphones to do a work call, my colleagues said "hey you sound kind of fuzzy". If you are working from home, good headphones are a must, these are very good. Comfy, good sound quality, good microphone. For sound, these are not going to compare to Bose....but they are decent and under $100. Highly recommend as "work gear"

update, 2 months later: this headphone is even better than I thought! I am running a very noisy portable AC unit and people can hear me clearly above it. it is filtering out external noise during my work calls.

Overall I'm satisfied with this product.

Two gripes:
1. The product description says that if you move the boom arm up it will mute. IT WON'T. It will just make it really hard for people to hear you; that's fine if you're just drinking water or maybe a faint cough. But if you have a big cough or a dog yelling in the background or something it's better if it ACTUALLY muted.
2. The boom has to be on the right side. I used a previous Jabra that let it swing forward or back, so you could wear it left-handed, where the boom is on your left side and still in front of your mouth.

I love Jabra's original Evolve 30 I thought I would give these a shake. Yes, they are comfortable for all-day use BUT you cannot switch mic sides. You are forced to have mic boom on RIGHT side only. The boom itself is rigid plastic and not repositionable excepting up/down. I got confused on the features of the different models, this one does NOT auto-mute when you raise the mic. But most importantly, the busylight does not work at all, only the mute light which is on the end of the cord. My call center uses WDE/Genesys and there is no option to install Jabra Direct on my company computer. Also be cautioned: "Noise cancellation" refers to the reduction of ambient noise passively, meaning the earpieces insulate you from room sounds. There is, however, NO active noise cancellation via the microphone so if you have any kind of breathing issues, don't bother with this model because every breath is picked up and there seems to be virtually no noise gating. The cord is a good one foot short from previous models. I had to buy this extension and that's just to get connected to a laptop on top of my desk. https://amzn.to/31jlJMI The Evolve2 model 75 just came out and looks to be everything I thought the Model 30 was going to be, but at $350 I guess I can wait until the Model 75 comes down to a more reasonable price point.

I use these a lot for work, telehealth appointments, videos, etc. I usually like to have one ear open on a headset, but these seem to block a lot of ambient noise but still allow me to hear important sounds if there were an emergency, which is perfect. Allows me to focus better. I haven't had any complaints of clients, doctors, etc saying they can hear any background noise on my (mic) end. My senior aged father can tend to blast his TV very loud but no one has seemed to hear it or my children in the background. Which is very important when working from home or remote conferences. The audio cue of mute/unmute in the headphones is great, along with the visual cue as well with a red light if you're muted in case you forget or want to double check without tapping the headset button again. I can wear them for hours without discomfort. I feel like they are a good weight as well. They feel sturdy but not overly heavy. I def recommend and would purchase again.

10-hour shift with the Jabra ..my ear became bothered by the headset

This was the first headset I've purchased that was not a Plantronics brand in 15yrs of working from home. I'm sorry to say I will be returning the Jabra Evolve2 30 MS Wired Headset, USB-A, Mono, Black. I work in a high call volume virtual call center, I handle on average of 100 to 150 calls in a 10hr shift, 5 days a week. Today was my first 10-hour shift with the Jabra and about 6 hours into my shift my ear began to hurt and become bothered by the headset. The sound quality was the same as my Plantronics Blackwire. The USB Cord is too short for my professional setup. I also found that volume and mute buttons when I pressed them the customer was aware I was messing with the headset. I was hoping for better quality than Plantronics Blackwire but in comparison, I will be going to back Plantronics Blackwire.

These Jabra evolve2 30 UC, are great quality. However, when setting up on a Windows based PC, I installed the Jabra direct driver and followed the install directions. And they didn't work properly at first. This was bad since it was in the start of important business meeting. So it's very important to go into the control panel then to device settings under microphone. The PC intergraded mic was on simultaneously with the Jabra microphone. So background noice from the PC mic was cancelling out the Jabra mic. Be sure to check the mic settings in your PC. I had to disable the PC built in "intergrated mic" in order for the Jabra to work properly. After this, all is great. Just be sure to check these settings before getting into an unprofessional situation. Best of luck!

Maybe I am just not using them properly but I have had problems with these.

They are lightweight and flexible there are two things not noted in the description of the product if I had known in advance I would not have purchased these headphones.

1. - Mic is on the right side and it can not be moved to the left - I always use my mic on the left ear I am left handed.

2.- Stated USB connection but this is actually USB-C and I had to purchase the adapter in order to use it on any of my equipment. Should have an adapter included for the price of this item.

Will not purchase Jabra items again unless they are more forthcoming with a complete description of the product. I have other wireless and wired headsets at 1/2 the price that work as good if not better then this item.

I use my headphones for virtual work meetings, it's great that they have built-in software to accommodate the Teams platform (I use them primarily for Teams and Webex); sound is excellent, comfort is very good (I have a somewhat small head, and I am female). I love the fact that I can "hear myself" when I speak, which is not a typical feature on headphones and the carrying case is very nice. I deducted one star was because I didn't realize that the headphones must be plugged into a Type C port (my laptop only one has, and I need it for my power cord), had to buy a "splitter", a USB Connect-C Hub, which was an added expense. I really like this unit, it's light weight comfortable, but most importantly the sound quality picked up by the mic is excellent. I had a Bluetooth unit, which I eventually gave up cause high quality sound was never really guaranteed. With a wired connection you don't have any interference issues. The wire is light weight, no dongle on them and easily plugs into my phone/laptop.
