Chris C was very knowledgeable, patient, professional, and friendly. The only thing that could have made it better is if we had checked the motor board for scorch marks during the first call, rather then trying out central control board replacement. That would have saved a couple of weeks. But I learned an awful lot from Chris that i would have never learned on my own. It was well worth the money.

Was responsive to request for repair, got appointment within 2 days of call, tech was on time, able to make repair, price was reasonable, was in and out in 20 mins ,will recommend and use for furture household appliances repairs

I called Keith at 11 am and he was here by 11:10! My dryer was making an awful noise and I needed it repaired quickly. He fit me in between jobs and took less than an hour to take apart the dryer, find and fix the problem, and put everything back together again. Price great, service erfect.

Great service tech onsite was friendly and helpful. Also gave great tips to help prevent the issue from happening in the future.

Lou came within 35 minutes after I called him (on a Saturday!) and had the problem diagnosed in five minutes. I needed a new assembly clutch, he quoted me a price, and he had it fixed in less than an hour. He gave me some tips on how to keep the washer going for another 10 years, and off he went. the part is under warranty for 90 days. Awesome!

Mr Pham answered his phone was polite and I got an appointment the next day. I wish every repair professional was like him. He came 5 min early and was friendly and efficient and showed me what was wrong. He has been the best professional so far on Angies list that I have dealt with. A true professional. And what I also really like a about Mr Pham is that he seems to really like his job ; ) !

Alex was punctual and professional. Very nice to work with. Parts had to be ordered and then he returned to make the repair in a about a week. While here he noticed lots of dust and cat hair had collected under the fridge and suggested that it was preventing the air from circulating properly around the refrigerator. He cleaned it all out for me at a very minimal extra cost. Work was done quickly and he left everything very clean.

He came to the appointment on time and was very eager to work. He was very knowlegeable with washers and dryers; since he indicated, he worked for Whirlpool for many years. His price was good for the job done.

Our Whirlpool bottom-freezer refrigerator was collecting ice in the floor of the freezer and eventually dripping water on the kitchen floor. Made an appointment with Metro on Wednesday for Friday afternoon. Igor arrived on time and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He showed us the original Whirlpool part (which, he said, fails a lot of the time) and replaced it with a hose. He de-iced the freezer and made sure everything was working properly before he left. I would recommend Metro for any refrigerator repair and plan to use them for any other appliance repair in the future,

Was a bit upset over the fact that the D/W was only 18month's old and out of warranty. Doesn't say much for electronic controls of the Maytag (Whirlpool) brand and will think twice about the purchase of any Whirlpool product in the future. Maytag used to make good products but not the case any longer and same can be said for their washers. Cost of this repair was hard to swallow and probably would have been better off with purchase of a new D/W as I paid $550 for it new. As far as the repair itself, Sam was on time, explained the possible/probable costs involved, so the cost was not a complete surprise when both parts ended up having to be replaced.

Two hours after I first called: the repair is complete. On a Sunday, with no extra charge. He arrived promptly, he easily diagnosed the problem, he had the part in his truck, and he completed the repair quickly. Then he said, "Don't pay me now. Wait and see how it works first."

Our 3 year old Whirlpool washing machine sprung a small leak inside it. I could see water dripping into the main compartment. I did a little trouble-shooting of my own and found that turning off the hot-water faucet at the wall stopped the drip. I then called Whirlpool central service, which turned out to be no help at all! Next found 3 names on Angie's List and called them . The first two were fine, but unfortunately did not service washers for which the dryer has been vertically stacked above it. Mainly they had a problem with man-power, i.e. getting the dryer down and lifting it back up later. I then tried Hi-Tech Appliance of Walnut Creek, and promptly got Majeed. I explained the situation to him and while he usually does not work on stacked washer-dryers, he said he would handle it for an additional fee, as he would be bringing an extra person. (In the end he did not charge me this extra amount.) Two hours later he called back with a quote for the part and labor. A little later he called again, said he had acquired the part and would drop by in the evening (2 hour window) and install it. He came on time, did job competently and matter of factly. He is friendly and answers questions about the job while working. The final cost was the same amount quoted, minus the charge for the extra man.

It was a decision on whether to repair the 5-year old washer or buy a new one. Peter explained very clearly what was broken, gave an estimate on the repair and outlined the pros and cons. He ordered the parts and made an appointment to come back and do the repairs. He arrived on time, and was very efficient. The washer works perfectly now.

THE ATTENDANT CAME ON TIME (WITHIN A TWO HOUR WINDOW) AND FIXED MY WASHER FAIRLY QUICKLY. HE ALSO CLEANED OUT THE INSIDE BARREL WHICH WAS QUITE CORRODED WITH GUNK. OVERALL, A DECENT JOB.

Excellent. He arrived early, fixed it quickly and charged a very reasonable amount. I would highly recommend LP Appliances Services.

I've used them several times. The latest was when my Whirlpool refrigerator/ freezer stopped working this week . The control panel had to be replaced along with a relay. I'm very pleased I didn't have to buy a new $1400 unit.

The upper rack was not getting enough water, so he ordered and replaced the arm assembly thinking it would fix it. It did not. Took 2 more calls to get him back out and he said I needed to call someone else as he couldn't fix it. There were $54 in parts, a labor charge of $85 + a service call of $65 for a total of $204. Still does not work and I need to now call someone else.

My father in law had complained that his 25 year old Whirlpool refrigerator was leaking water that was dripping below his water vegetable tray. He wasn't sure who to call except for Whirlpool Factory reps so I decided to look up local appliance repair in the area on Angie's List as we had a good experience using the services for tree repair. After researching the local repair companies and reviews, I decided to go with Sam as he was a local owner and had great reviews as we wanted someone my father in law could trust. I called Sam at 8am and explained the situation and he called my father in law and arraigned for a 10am meeting. When Sam got there, he made him feel relaxed and talked about family etc and got right down to fixing the refrigerator. My father in law was concerned that he may need a new refrigerator but within a hour, Sam had the leaking water fixed, cleaned out the freezer part and had it back to working order even telling him that this was a good refrigerator and they don't make the new ones like this one. Sam left his cad and my father in law smiling and satisfied Thank you Sam!

The did an excellent job. They know what they are talking about. The work they did was under warranty.

We are working through them to another repair place. They identified the problem and fixed it. I chose to go with them because it seemed to be the smartest thing to go through the factory. It took three different pries to get the serviceman out to look at the problem. Once he came out, it was fine. I would use them in the future if I had the need to.
