It went very well. Dave, the owner, is very focused on customer service. The crew showed up on time on the appointed day and they were very professional and courteous. I didn't realize Nor-Cal Maintenance fixes screens and the crew noticed I had several that were in bad shape. I'd been planning on finding another contractor for this, so was more than happy to have Nor-Cal Maintenance take care of it. They took the screens and delivered them back the same day. Then they took five more screens that I remembered were stashed in my garage. My roof, house, and windows all look great. I'm a happy customer and will definitely call Nor-Cal Maintenance in the future.

Darby and Jessica did a terrific job as they did on prior work. I especially appreciated that they voluntarily did an additional treatment on my roof where moss was the worst. They did so at no charge just to ensure that it was properly taken care of. The gutter cleaning made the gutters look really good again and same for the garden walls. Darby and Jessica work hard and do a great job plus they are so pleasant and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. Based on their quality of work, fair pricing, and great customer service, they are the type of small business that you like to support.

It was excellent. They did a great job, clean it very well, polite, very courteous, professional, wonderful people, did an excellent job , and I would hire them again. They came on time, finished the job completely, but did a thorough job and the make sure I was satisfied. They asked me questions and concern about the job and I said no, it looks thorough and clean. They explained that it will take several days to complete the come off of the roof in terms of the moss and if I had a question they said to call them back.

Roof looks much much better, they did a good job removing 30 years worth of dirt, moss etc from the tiles. Cleaned out the gutters as well. As for fixing the roof leak, looks like they did a reasonably good job, will have to wait and see how it holds up during the next rains. Overall it was a good job. With a 5 year warranty on work done speaks for their commitment to quality and reliabilty .Customer service was excellent, very polite and hard working crew. I would recommend them.

Falcon Roofing delivered all that they promised and then some. The box skylight ended up posing a challenge with the existing roof slope and configuration, but their installer, Francisco, is an artisan as well as a highly talented craftsman who takes great pride in his work. What Francisco was able to create is like a work of art and is a strikingly beautiful and very unique skylight. The ceiling itself ended up presenting a second challenge, as it had been textured by the previous homeowner. As an interior decorator I know that trying to match texture on a ceiling is a nightmare, but Francisco did a patient and painstaking job of making the transition from old to new seamless and invisible. Everything they were supposed to do, they did with complete competence. They were pleasant, personable, dependable, and always cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. Miguel (who installed the Sun Tubes) also did a good job of prepping and sealing off the room where the skylight was going in, and there was no dust or debris that transferred from that room to the rest of the house. Not only did they do what they promised, but they went above and beyond. My husband and I recently relocated to Mountain View from the East Coast and we have learned that with so many people working on their homes in the area, contractors are busy and it can be difficult to them to come out. Because I had been unable to hire a handyman in advance of some interior painting that was about to start, I was trying to remove an old, unwanted window seat myself. My electric drill is still across the country at my other house, and my screwdriver wasn't completely up to the task. Falcon's Field Service Technician, Richard Renteria, happened to be here getting things ready for Francisco, and in bit of desperation I asked Richard if I could please borrow his drill. To my complete delight and surprise, he not only proceeded to remove the offending screws himself, but picked up the entire old window seat and carted it away! Wow! Richard also solved another problem for me when he fashioned some blocks to trim in an octagonal window. I also need to include Miguel in my thanks, who is a tireless, diligent, and very dedicated worker. He did a great job of installing the Sun Tubes, and his "above and beyond" contributions included helping me successfully repair the outer ring of one of the Sun Tubes that my painters inadvertently damaged. Miguel also provided some advice for some other carpentry and painting projects I was working on around the house (Miguel was the one who told me that Richard could probably make the blocks for my window, and then he asked Richard to do it.) Last but not least, I also want to acknowledge Falcon's owner, Mario Renteria, who came out himself on a weekend evening at Francisco's request to discuss some of the challenges with the skylight. In short: great company - great experience through and through.

I have a 1967 shake roof on my house. As my city will not allow a rational replacement for it, I have tried to preserve it for as long as possible. Twice yearly inspections, shim/repair as needed and regular cleaning and treating. After extensive research and review of many tests and publications, I found a great product to use, TWP. I contacted Envirotek Restoration based on their purchase of large amounts of TWP - and have used them several times since 1996. Each time the roof was cleaned well and the product was applied as per spec. Care was taken to protect the surrounding areas and items. Clean up was good. Most importantly, the roof looked great and kept on looking so for a several years after each treatment. No moss or turning black. Great stuff. Only bad thing is me loosing their number and using another company and product the last time - disaster.

He showed up on time with another guy and started blowing off all the debris. I saw his helper brushing the tiles. They worked the entire day. They came back again a day later and applied a chemical and was hosing. When they finished he showed me photos and discussed what repairs needed to be done. He is very knowledgeable. My son and I couldn't believe how clean it looked! My husband came home and was really impressed with his work. He left the windows, balcony, patio and driveway clean. I would definitely recommend using his service. My roof looks AMAZING!!!!!

I got their name from a sign of a person in our neighborhood who had their shake roof rehabilitated. I asked them how it went and they were quite happy. I connected with Dan (sales specialist for roof rehab) and he inspected the both the roof of our house and our nearby rental. We walked both roofs with him pointing out the issues. We agreed that one roof was beyond repair, but our house was completely within reason. Since we have solar panels it is very expensive to lift them off for roof replacement, so we were highly motivated to do a repair. He gave us a quote for replacing about 400 shakes, shims, pressure wash cleaning and then conditioning with an oil made for rejuvenating shake. Doing web research was quite challenging, but Dan's advice was readily validated once I understood the issues. The workers seemed to be quite capable. The cleaning process was really messy as there was a lot of stuff that came off the roof. There is a lot of moss this time of year. That said, they cleaned up the mess at the end of the day quite well. They did a thorough job and I walked the roof and it looked very good. That is to say, it was hard to tell what was new or old because the roof looked fine. They use recycled shake so there are no obvious patches, but I could see it was in very good shape. There was one additional thing I requested since I had a known leak where I did a quickie patch in an unobvious spot where flashing came together with a flat roof. It was forgotten, but Sam came back the next day a fixed it. They ask for about 20% down, but did not ask for the final payment until it was perfect. It was not easy to find firms that do shake rehab, because most roofing firms want to replace the roof. Compared to other rehab efforts I have seen I think they did a better job.
