Freda is one of the best interior designer in the Maryland area. She has a great knowledge of paint color and this clearly reflected on the great color she chose for our home. Paints she chose has given a great look to our home and I am grateful to Freda for taking this project so seriously and spending time in deciding the appropriate colors. In addition to the paints, she also gave us great ideas on lighting and furniture staging. She was available even after her home visit, answering all your questions within 24 hours. Lily is top-notch. We consulted with her on a plan for our office--furniture, arrangement, paint, lighting, everything. She talked through our basic parameters and objectives, and then quickly came up with a plan that nailed those objectives and gave us a vision for the room. She also fleshed that out with a full list of the furniture and paint, so that we have everything we'll need to implement. She's great to work with, and we're very happy with the service she provided.

Christine Wiott at CL Wiott Design is transforming our house into a home that reflects our personality and style. After working with a couple of other interior designers who seemed more interested in showcasing their personal tastes/styles rather than our own, it's very refreshing to work with someone who offer ideas that reflects our taste, lifestyle, and accommodates all range of budgets. I have to admit that taking us on as clients are challenging at times because she has to accommodate not only my wants/vision but also that of my husband whose style and vision often fall in completely different directions. The fact that she is able to make both of us happy says a lot about her talent but also her excellent customer service skills (including couple counseling). Christine started on our home with color consultation for the walls of our first floor a couple of years ago and has now grown to four rooms and the exterior. We couldn't be more thrilled with the progress. As we finish one project, we continue to identify other areas of our home that we want her to help us transform. She is very flexible to accommodate the client's needs and resources (e.g. budget and time). She listens, educates, and most importantly stops us (very diplomatically) if our ideas will lead to future regrets and bad outcomes. After making so many design decisions that I regretted, I don't make any design decisions without consulting with her. She shows her commitment to her clients-- she's not satisfied until we are happy.

Let's start by stating Andrea has patience. I had to reschedule our appointment twice. She was professional and personable rescheduling. The date of appointment she was prompt with samples in tow. We walked together room by room creating new ideas to update the townhouse. She recommended small DYI projects that I could complete myself with a visit to the nearest home improvement store. We had just bought a new house and I am no good with color or design so Nickie came over and sat with my Fiance and reviewed setting up our house. one of the great things about Nickie as she has such a great eye. unlike many of the designer who basically come in and tell you you need all new everything. Nickie walk through your whole house and will have you moving things from one room to another that you would never have thought of and they make your house look like a new home. then add some color, Nickie recommended some colors for certain rooms and also complimented some of the thing my fiance had already done and told her not to change. this approach was so nice for my Fiance as she was worried about breaking budget. I have used Nickie before and will always recommend her

We were having most of our house interior painted and carpeted. We had some idea of color schemes, but felt we could use an outside opinion. Jill was available on a per-hour basis within a day or two. She came to our house, bringing her color cards. She listened to our tastes and our ideas, then made polite suggestions. We then bought some paint samples and met with her again. This crystalized our thoughts, generally along the bolder themes she had suggested. Our contractor has nearly finished the work, and the colors and themes look great.

I was a very concerned about asking for help from an interior design company. I was afraid a designer would inflict his/her own style or a design on me that, while lovely, current, etc., would just not be me. When I saw the deal on Angie's List, I decided to try it because I've been holding off doing any renovations for such a long time out of fear of making a mistake. My experience with Exquisite Designs and Paulanne was very positive and the exact opposite of what I feared. After an initial introductory email, I sent Paulanne some pictures of my very challenging space and she said she would come to my home. She arrived on time and my place Is not easy to find. She is very personable and professional and I was immediately comfortable. She was able to "get" me right away and when she'd make a recommendation, I'd say "that is exactly what I wanted" - I just didn't know it until she said it. I asked her how she did it because her suggestions were so on point. I cannot stress enough how challenging my space is and how great her recommendations are -- and they are not over-the-top or expensive. Her input has made all the difference and I honestly could not do this without her - nor would I want to! I took my daughter with me when I went to the Exquisite Design showroom and my daughter was very impressed with Paulanne's knowledge and ability to pull it all together. She called Paulanne an artist and my daughter is not easily impressed. I will use Exquisite Design's services again and I highly recommend Paulanne and Exquisite Designs. Plus, it was fun!

Ms. Kim Johnson was intuitive, understanding and practical. Before she came over she suggested I read the book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. I am not a stuff person so I thought I did not need it, but I delved in and it feels really great. Ms. Johnson is very focused and professional. She gave me a lot of ideas for free that I could do right away plus a few manageable tasks and explained how easily they could be accomplished when I hesitated. I can not wait to work with her some more. She has done a lot of theatre and restaurants so I know she can help with our house.

Kathy was great to work with. I was interested in updating may main floor and needed design ideas and how the work could be broken up into different projects. She offered a lot of great ideas about updates - including kitchen design ideas, den space usage, flooring, and furniture placement. She offered a lot of ideas which gave me a lot to consider for future projects.

Kathy did an exceptional job across the house all in three hours. She was courteous and professional and taught us how to better appreciate and employ our space. She showed us how to move the furniture around the home so that it looked good and made sense. She also provided ideas on paint colors. We have now painted and have a greater respect for her ability to visualize the colors on the wall. Additionally, she had us move pictures, mirrors and wall hangings to other parts of the home to areas where they enhanced the look instead of detracting from it. We not only would use her again, we are planning on her coming back for further design assistance.
