It was a pleasure working with Jason and I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. We recently purchased a small home, and we had a very short timeline to get the floors refinished before we moved in--6 days to be precise. The floors were stained and yellowed and desperately needed help. We spoke to 4 companies, and not only was Jason the only one willing to refinish our floors in that amount of time (and confident that he could do it!), his quote came in under all the others. Hiring him seemed like a no-brainer, but his work spoke for itself. We weren’t able to be present to meet him at the house or pick out stains for the floor, but Jason communicated with us clearly and consistently to update us on the project and give us advice and feedback. He discovered several places where the floor needed to be repaired, gave us a quick quote, and completed the repairs without taking any extra time to finish the job. The floors are beautiful and have breathed new life into our new old house. Jason and his team at Just Hardwood Floors are fantastic and come highly recommended from us.

I would like to express my opinion for the recent job Clarks’s hardwood floor guys did in my house. After estimator came to give quotes for the job on time and very professional, they sent us a written estimate by email with all details what would be done. We call them up and schedule an appointment for the job. The worker came on time, started the job very polite, accurate and did not waist the time. They been very understanding in regards of our schedule adjustment, follow through with it.After job was done, my floors look like new, it was restored great! We are very satisfied with the job and recommend future customers to select this company.

Here where I live, you would think you would get good quality work, but you don't. They redid my floors about 3 years ago, and my floors have never been the same since. Pieces of wood are separating from each other, you can see black in between there and food falls down in there. They were supposed to take care of the problems that Lipp didn't and straighten it out, sand it down and make it level, but they didn't do that. I called them to complain about it and they said they would take care of it but they didn't. I finally said screw it and I don't want them in my house anyway. They are too expensive for what I got. They also put some marbolium in a small area and I couldn't close my door. He complained and complained and begrudgingly fixed the door. And then they left without putting the strip back on the bottom of my door. I called them and he said Oh yeah I saw that in the back of my truck. He came back out and put it on. I will never use them again.

Excellent! It took two different crews within the company to repair and then restore the damage but the results are spectacular!

I had bathtub and bathroom sink that were installed 50 years ago, and you could see the age in all cracks and stains. Didn't have money for the bathroom renovation, so I decided to refresh it. I contacted Mr Bathtub company, they gave me estimation over the phone and explained the process. I liked the price, and I made an appointment with them. The contractor came in time, was very patient and careful about our apartment. First part of the project took about 3 hours, then he left. Next day he came again and finished the job in about 1-1.5 hours. Results are great! Bathtub and the sink look brand new. Tenants love it. I will definitely call Mr Bathtub if I need to restore any other tubs, sinks, or countertops.

Everyone associated with the project was very helpful and knowledgeable, from the initial estimator, installers, and office staff who cheerfully answered our follow-up questions, We would recommend Clark's Hardwood Floors without hesitation.

I hired AKB for a very big job: the entire remodel of an historic 2600 sf two-story house. The job included engineering and design to allow expansion of the kitchen and suppression of a non-functional hallway, major foundation work, the complete replumbing and rewiring of the house, the gutting and remodeling of the kitchen and 3.5 bathrooms, installation of recessed lighting everywhere, construction of new closet space, new ducts, new water heater, installation of hardwood floors, restoration of an old fir staircase and old fir floors, repairs and replacement of non-functional door and window hardware, painting everywhere, removal of an obsolete heating system from the roof, earthwork to improve drainage, and many other things. A considerable fraction of the work represented more a restoration job than remodeling. I would say AKB did everything but the kitchen sink, except they did that too ! The final product was a wonderful house that will last yet another 100 years and that is more "historic" than when we started, because they were able to replicate historic features such as the wainscoting, baseboard trim, and window frames, transferring the designs from the oldest part of the house to the newer parts to give the appearance that all had all been constructed in the same era. The AKB workers showed great craftsmanship and pride in this restoration work and the quality was top notch. AKB provided a lot of good design ideas, and they readily accepted and implemented the ideas I had myself. AKB stood out compared to other contractors I have worked with by listening to me and doing what I wanted without wrangling. There were many unexpected issues that came up, as is normal for a remodel job, In addition, my wife and I changed our choices a number of times, and added new requests as the project progressed and we could better visualize the outcomes. The project was complicated by the fact I was often away on business during the remodeling time. Despite the complexity and my frequent absence from the work site, there was remarkably little miscommunication. The owner is a "hands-on" guy with great integrity, and I highly recommend him.

Swimmingly! They were responsive to alterations we introduced along the way and great to work with. The care and attention to detail show that they really care about doing a good job. The project wrapped faster than expected and we're ecstatic with the old-made-new-again room.

They did a great job. Punctual, with excellent communication; came in, took a quick look around, set up and began to work swiftly and efficiently. Meticulous cleanliness, with drop cloths on the wooden floors, which I really appreciated. I did follow my end of the instructions which meant having everything off of the marble surfaces to be cleaned, and being able to keep them free and clear for the rest of the day (ideal 24h). He was done in less than 2 hours, and all work was done by hand. Great job. The only thing I'd comment on is that I didn't notice much of a difference between before the cleaning and after...but again, it was not a restoration. Also, this may well be because we have honed white italian marble (Calacatta d'Oro) - not polished or shiny, so it may just not show as much after a cleaning/polish. Most important is the fact that the marble countertops were sealed, which ideally should be done annually and this was my first time since installation (two years). He did tell me how easy it would be to restore the marks and blemishes that have resulted from normal kitchen use over the last couple of years, which was super reassuring to hear in case I'm ever feeling like I need it to look like new again (but I LOVE the marble and love the patina). I'd definitely hire them again next year for the same service, and would call them when I'm ready to fix any flaws or have an unexpected bad spill, etc. Super professional -- they met and exceeded my every expectation of a terrific service provider!

They were great. They are one of the best in the carpet cleaning business. They do a better job than anybody I have had before. They are really clean.

Mario and his employees are the best! From the beginning to end, Mario provided us with the best service. We are very satisfied with the work that was done by Mario and his employees. I contacted him by phone, and he came immediately for a free estimate. He sent me a proposal for the work that I requested and his price was very good. Mario answered all of my emails and questions promptly. They also tried really hard to accommodate around our busy schedule and completed the entire job in 1 day. I left the home so they could work on the floors, and to my surprise, Mario personally called me on the phone to update me on the status. He asked if I had any questions or concerns. When I returned home, the floors were so shiny and the grout was clean. Everything was sealed. The marble floors looked better than when it was first installed. The employees asked that I inspect the floors to make sure I was happy with the results and see if they missed anything. Everything was perfect, Mario and his team were professional, fast, and provided us with top quality work. We will definitely hire them again for our future stone care needs.

I used the ma few weeks ago and I didn't spend anything extra. Everything was fine. They showed up on time he did a good job, we may even have him come back to do some other work. We pitched some more business with him because we were satisfied with the work he has done.

After making an initial call to Mario, he came by within just a day or two to take a look at the project and provided an estimate. He worked with me on the estimate and scope of work to bring it into the range of my budget and then scheduled things in a way that would allow me to always have a working bathroom at all times. Mario scheduled Tomas to came out to do the work and everything was fantastic - we are thrilled with how wonderful the stone looks now. It's like we have brand new bathrooms! Tomas was punctual, very polite and clean while working (he removed his shoes to walk on any carpets without me even asking!), and excellent at stone restoration. He explained everything he was doing and checked in at each stage of work to make sure I was happy with the results. We've had other contractors try to do similar stone cleaning and restoration in the past, but the work was nowhere near the quality of this work. I highly recommend MB Marble and would definitely hire them again.

This vendor is nothing short of AMAZING. Super courteous, responsive, and very engaged in wanting to do the right thing for me. The Sales Rep that I worked with, Amie, was great at giving me the quote I asked for and providing various options. She followed up a few times, but was never pushy of overbearing. Just a really A+++ experience even though I did not use them.

I have used them couple of times and had a good experience with them. They're quick, prompt, and do good work.

Mario Barrientos performed the work in 2 different residences. He was responsive and communicative via email and phone. He was prompt for both appointments and devoted an appropriate amount of time to each job. The black granite countertops had become dull over a period of a few years but were restored to their initial shiny appearance. The marble kitchen and bathrooms floors looked beautiful following the service. The grout was clean and the floor just sparkled. An area of discoloration in the bathroom caused by rust was addressed and remediated, which was a tremendous relief. Mario was obviously expert in the cleaning, care, and restoration of natural stone. He was professional, affable, and respectful of my home. I would recommend him highly.

They did the work when we were out of town and they didn't do it right. We called them back and they did take care of it. The price was a bit much and I think we could have done it for cheaper. They were expensive. The guy that came out to do the estimate was just wonderful. He was fabulous. I didn't get any estimates from anyone else which I should have done so it was my fault. The main reason we had them come to do the work was not fixed and they signed off as if everything was fixed so we had to call him so he could look at it and then redo it. I was rather disappointed and didn't want to recommend them because of that. We had them give us an estimate for some other tile work outside and they were really high. They were great as far as trustworthy. I felt comfortable having them here. The salesmanship was excellent.

We moved into a beautiful new home in Aptos but our Terrazzo countertops were a little worse for wear due to acid etching and knife marks. We wanted the home to feel brand new, so we called out Mr. Peabody's to restore our countertops throughout our Kitchen, Master Bath, upstairs guest bath, and laundry room. Terry, the owner, was quick to respond with a visit to give us a reasonable quote considering how much polishing and sanding would be required to make them all like new again. Terry's stone refinishing team of Trenton and Gil came out and did an excellent job of restoring our counter surfaces throughout our house. It took one day for the kitchen and another for the bathrooms and laundry room. All of the appliances and fixtures were carefully masked off and in the original condition after the process, which was a big relief. Mr. Peabody's team was professional and courteous throughout the process. We highly recommend that you give Mr. Peabody's a call if you need your stone/quartz counters resurfaced. These guys are great at what they do!

Ron arrived exactly on time both for the initial visit to give me an estimate and to clean a test section of the tile floor and also on the cleaning appointment day. Ron was exceptionally courteous and professional, finished within the estimated time frame, left everything immaculate, and the results were fantastic. He also gave me some great tips on carpet and tile maintenance. Best of all, he didnt even balk at the prospect of coming back after he made the first of two round-trips of my very steep, narrow, winding, half-mile driveway. I was more than satisfied with both the work and the outcome.

The workers arrived on time, were courteous, friendly, & professional. They took care to avoid marring newly installed baseboard. When they were done we could only tell the difference between old and new flooring from memory of where the dividing line had been. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Appleby's Hardfloor Division.
