Atticare was professional and pretty much consistent throughout our relationship with them. Upon our first call to them, the call went to voicemail, and they called back immediately. They scheduled a free inspection, and quoted us a price below their minimum, because we had such a small space to handle. The price was very reasonable based on our conversations with other vendors for what we'd be getting. We truly appreciated this as another service that had been recommended to us and who had come to give us a bid charged $75 just for the inspection, gave us only a verbal report, and quoted us an exorbitant price that would have required us to go into debt. Atticare could also handle all of the different things we needed to have done and all in one visit, which was not the case with other vendors we contacted, who said we would need to contact different vendors they recommended for different services and coordinate all of those services ourselves. Another thing we liked about Atticare was that we were able to schedule the inspection for a Sunday, so we didn't have to take time off of work to be home for the inspection. We received a confirmation call the day before. The inspector arrived promptly, was friendly and professional. He investigated our garage, which is where we needed to have work done, and then offered to inspect our house, too, explaining it was free and it would be good be sure rodents hadn't moved inside. During that inspection, he gave us free advice about our insulation but didn't pressure us to give Atticare work. It was very helpful, and we felt, above and beyond. We scheduled to have Atticare work on our garage the following Saturday. We gave a very reasonable deposit on the spot. Atticare called later in the week and apologized and said they had to reschedule. We were a little disappointed, because we wanted to get the work done, but it wasn't a big deal. They were able to come the following Sunday, which again we appreciated not having to take off time from work for this job, and the delay gave us extra time to prepare. We again received a confirmation call the day before the work was to be done, and we were told that we would receive a call half an hour before the team would arrive, and they would arrive within a two-hour window. We didn't receive a call within that two-hour window, so we called the main office (which was open on a Sunday!), where they checked on it and and called us back to say the team would be there in half an hour. It was more like an hour before they showed up. That said, the team was efficient and ready to do work. We were happy with the results. When we inspected directly after they did the work, we found things that had not been done thoroughly, and when we brought it up with the team lead, there were no questions about it. He had the team go back and do the work. When the inspector had come a couple of weeks before, he had said that the team would help disinfect items we wanted to keep, and while again we had to remind the team of this, they were friendly and accommodating in helping us with that work. It was a big, intense job, and they were a big help. They did what they said they'd do (though they forgot a couple of things, easily an oversight) and overall their work was quality. And they left extra supplies with us. We were able to pay with a credit card electronically on the spot - no need to call an office or send a check. Also, the inspector had told us that they could give us rat traps as a precaution. The team leader didn't have any in his van, so he promised to drop them by later that evening. He did. It had been a long day, and it was dark when he came by, but he kept his word, and we really appreciated that. Atticare wasn't perfect, but all things that were different as promised were minor, and they fixed them. They were all about service and convenience. We had a very good experience with them.
