The work went well, the workers were competent and the project was beautiful on completion. It included several curved portions that required cutting the brick and these were done very well. (The bricks weren't hacked or chipped). Some time has since passed, and where a lot of water from the winter rains have washed onto the bricks, there is some buckling of the bricks which I'll likely call them again to fix. If a rain gutter drains onto the bricks, it'll definitely be good to plan on running a drain pipe to route the water away. Moss and weeds also grow between the bricks after the rains and you may like that or not. I apply Round Up where needed but some stronger or longer lasting herbicide may be an option.

It went really well. He was nice to work with and did an excellent quality of work. The job was thorough and complete. He also did not leave a mess for us to clean up. The work was completed promptly as well. I am leaving leaving this review at least a year later and the walkway has held up well.

Mr. Farinacci retured our call within one working day, he appeared at our house on time after we agreed on a day and time to meet, and was professional in every respect. He provided a reasonable written bid within a couple of days. We would have definitely hired him to do the project, but we had another unexpected repair to make that tapped the funds we had reserved for the walk. When we recover from that next spring, we will certainly contact Mr. Farinacci to do this project.

Peggy called the morning of the application of the sand. She gave me an approximate time of when she'd be over. She arrived promptly within her time frame and thouroughly powerwashed the brick. As the brick needs time to dry before applying the polymeric sand, she returned in two days to put down the sand. The brick looks so much better now. She even came back to realign and level several of the bricks on my front and back steps. I was really impressed with her work. She did an excellent job and I would hire her again.

During the consultation and estimate phase Nic was a very personable guy which is why I selected his company for my requirements even though his bid was the highest of the three. I was not able to be on-site day by day to oversee this project. In the end the reason for my poor rating of this company can be summed up into three bullets:1) Did not demonstrate professional competence with the job2) Poor overall quality when compared to the high proposal cost (as compared to two other quotes I received)3) Poor customer service post contract award (hence the delayed report submittal) Should other members decide to use this company I would strongly recommend to be on-site in an attempt to avoid/minimize the three issues I experienced above.

Kevin and his team worked on a pavement job for us and laid down small decorative bricks in a pedestrian area and larger bricks for our driveway. Scope of our project was between 10-15k. Kevin was great walking us through the options, selecting the materials, and quoting the job. His team was polite and hard working. During the course of the project they discovered ways to save around 2k in material costs. We’re really satisfied with the quality of work. There was a lot of fine details to get the bricks to fit just right and they did a great job. We didn’t notice any corner-cutting. We’re saving Kevin’s contact information. He’s our go-to person for landscaping improvements.

Found Skyline Landscape on Angie's List. Called Francisco and he came to my house that afternoon. He was professional and worked with my schedule to get this completed so I could stay on schedule with some other work I was having done. His team arrived on time and were responsive to input I shared. They did a great job, cleaned up nicely. Francisco and Skyline Landscapes will be on my "preferred subs" list for future work at my place. I highly recommend them!

Extremely good communication, clearly defined the work to be done, all the costs and materials, and performed the work quickly and professionally. Would definitely do business with them again.

Cheas Gardening performed a small pathway conversion from dirt to paved brick. They were able to utilize unused existing bricks that were neatly placed in an appeasable pattern to convert the weed infested walkway into a naturally decorated usable piece of property. They trimmed and recommended a more beautiful growth pattern of my Japanese maples. This was all completed in one work day!

The job was expertly done and in a timely fashion. Once they started, they were on the job every day all day to its conclusion. When there were problems ( e.g., the second palate of brick did not match the first), Tobias was very cool and was able to get a palate that was a better match. He was extremely easy to work with and always composed and smiling. His employees were equally good to work with and excellent craftsmen. They cleaned up everything meticulously and even washed and sealed the brick. We were extremely pleased.

We couldn't of had a better experience working with Pablo at New Earth Landscaping! Estimate process was fast and easy. After reaching out Pablo came by the next day to put together a proposal. He worked with us to stay within our budget. His team does quality work and was ahead of schedule. The whole project was 8 days (2 days ahead of schedule). Throughout the project he kept us updated with good communication. He trained me on using the irrigation system that he installed. At every step he went the extra mile to keep us happy as customers. We love the end results and couldn't be happier with out choice to work with Pablo.

Victor Arellano (the owner) started in masonry, then went into landscaping. He went into business about a decade ago and now has about 8 people working for him. He has trained his men (several are related to him) and they all arrive promptly and work hard whether he is there or not. He stops by the job site a couple of times a day. Most of his men do not speak much English, but he is very accesible by phone. I had a concern about how one thing was being done and he stopped by and had them redo it. He is good about consulting you if changes need to be made. He took the plan we had, made a couple of excellent suggestions, and turned it into reality!The masonry is beautiful - we are very happy with the entire yard. A brick in the driveway cracked about a month after completion and he came back and replaced it. His price was in the middle of the bids we received.

MR. GARCIA'S CREW WORKED FAST AND VERY EFFICIENTLY. THE DRAINAGE WORKED GREAT. LOOKED VERY GOOD AND THE PATIO WITH BRICK TRIM LOOKS GREAT. THE PRICE FOR THE JOB WAS VERY REASONABLE. THE CREW WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND DID A GREAT JOB.

Job went very well over all. Adam was easy to engage and had some great ideas in designing the patio area. I had a large amount of bricks and asked if it was possible to reuse them in the new patio - Adam said it was not a problem and went on to state that I had plenty of brick. Adam and his team showed up on time the first day and hit the ground running. Adam was even eager to work with me when there were changes to the project along the way. There were a few slight communication problems trying to discuss issues with other members of his team during Adam's absence but we managed to get through it all. Half way through the project the team discovered I had two different types of bricks (slightly different in size and color) They adjusted for the size difference but didn't give a lot of thought to the color difference (the bricks blended fine when they were mixed together in a pile, but separated had a distinctly different color. Further on into the project they realized they didn't have enough brick to finish the entire project. This is something an experienced landscaper should have been able to measure and know from the beginning. They did the best they could in matching the new brick but in the end I have a patio with three distinct sections of different color. They continued to insist they would age and blend fine but as time goes on it's becoming more apparent that they will not age and blend together and I am stuck with a three-tone patio. I would never have allowed the project to continue with the old brick if I knew this would be the potential outcome. Adam is a great guy and I would absolutely recommend him to others. Even though this was a mistake I believe the contractor should have been able to prevent at several points both before and during the project, they genuinely thought it would work out and did not intentionally try to put anything past me. The rest of the project looks amazing and I would absolutely still seek Adam out for future projects.

They did an excellent job and did the work in the time they specified they would. The two workers completed the job in three days and worked very hard. They cleaned up well and kept everything nice and neat the entire time.

This went EXACTLY as planned. I have never, ever, ever worked with a contractor who did exactly what he promised, on time and on budget with quality work...until now. Nathan from Method Paving came to the house, gave us an estimate, helped us pick out a design, and his crew came out when they said they would. The whole job took only 3 days. There were no issues and no delays and no added costs. Amazing! I would highly recommend this company. It was a pleasure to work with a company so professional.

I got quotes from four different companies. Craig's was the lowest. The project entailed: -Demolishing a crumbling property wall and erecting a new cinder block one in its place. -Replacing lava rock/cement planters with river rock. -Redoing a patio with paving stones. -Building a pathway of paving stones. -Grouting/grinding big cracks in cement block walls. -Building brick retainer to support listing brick BBQ. -Patching various chipped bricks and cracks in driveway. The crew worked very hard and finished in about 3 weeks. When I told Craig I was unhappy with something, he was gracious and professional enough to offer to redo the work. He was also very patient in dealing with obnoxious neighbors and difficult city inspectors. I was hesitant to write a review just yet, since the work is still in progress, but Craig freely admitted when an initial approach didn't work and genuinely seems to care that we get the aesthetic I'm after. That speaks volumes.

Went great! Early service, quick and professional. Took care of all permits and built to City Code. Very impressed!

Paul and his crew did a fantastic job with our new driveway and we are very pleased with the result. When we started soliciting quotes to replace our old asphalt driveway, we were surprised at how expensive it would be. After seeing all the labor and care that went into the job, we now understand why. We believe that we paid a very fair price. After the contract was signed, they told us that work would begin on Tuesday at 7:30 AM and that is exactly what happened. The foreman introduced himself and his crew and told us what to expect in the next few days. We were always kept apprised of what work was coming up and when they would be on site. The whole job took about two weeks, including time for the concrete to cure. There were a lot of details to take care of: demolition and debris removal, relocating sprinkler pipes, excavating and constructing forms for the concrete pour and the brick trim, concrete pour and aggregate seeding, brick laying, filling in excavated areas, acid washing, and final cleanup. All along the way, Paul checked in with us and made sure we were satisfied with the work as it progressed. At one point, the crew had dry laid all the brick and we were checking out the pattern. I noticed that there would be a cut brick at the edge of the connecting walkway and commented on it. Two hours later, the whole brick placement had been redone to eliminate the cut entirely. They clearly wanted to do the job right. The crews were polite and considerate, always willing to answer questions, and clearly proud of their work. Our neighbors have commented on how nice the new driveway looks, and considering the noise and traffic that they had to put up with, that's a strong endorsement.

They did a great job building a redwood deck and brick walkway. It wasn’t an easy job due to the fact that there was a large tree with an extensive root system. I will always use AGS for all of my landscaping needs. Two thumbs up!!!!
