How do I create a subscription channel?

How do I upload my videos?
You can upload videos individually or via a batch upload. Our solutions team can assist if you have a large library of content that you need to migrate over from another service.
Can I migrate from other platforms (or my own homegrown platform) for free?
Yes! Vimeo OTT offers free content and subscriber migration from different providers for Growth and Enterprise plans. Additionally, we can migrate customer and payment information so you won’t miss a payment - and your customers won’t miss a minute of content.
How long are Vimeo OTT contracts?
For web-based channels, there are no upfront costs or subscription fees. We only make money when you make money. Growth and Enterprise plans (with apps) require a subscription.

How do I get paid and how often?
We use Stripe Connect to process payments via a bank transfer. You’ll receive monthly payouts.
How do taxes work?
Vimeo OTT does not collect sales tax on your behalf. If you have over 200 transactions and $20,000 in sales each year, we will send you a 1099-K.
Does Vimeo OTT collect VAT tax?
Vimeo OTT does collect & remit VAT from European customers on your behalf. VAT is shown in USD on your statement.
I’m not located in the US. Can I distribute my subscription using Vimeo?
Yes. As long as you have a bank account in one of the 31 countries on this list, you can distribute using Vimeo OTT.
Are there international payout fees?
Payouts to bank accounts in currencies other than USD are charged a 2% conversion fee.
What is the pricing of Live PPV (pay-per-view)?
Clients who purchase Live have access to Live PPV. They will be charged per transaction: 10% plus 50 cents (same as our TVOD pricing).
