In early 2001 I was lucky enough to come on board in Plainfield, Indiana, hired as a temporary employee through a staffing agency. Soon after, I was brought on permanently and was soon awarded a Team Lead position along with becoming a trainer for PIT Equipment. I started out in smaller accounts and moved up gradually into larger accounts with more responsibility added to my role. An opportunity arose for me to move into a position that was in my “wheel-house” and I jumped at the opportunity. I LOVE my job and enjoy coming to work each day to make a difference!

I started working at GEODIS in November of 2013 as a temporary employee. After my initial placement, I was asked if I would like to move to another account and I gladly accepted. I was given the opportunity to work as a picker and after exceeding in this position I was moved to an operator role. Since then I have become a Receiving Lead over a new account and have demonstrated my ability to get the job done and stay focused. A little over 3 years after being hired at GEODIS I am now being groomed to become a Supervisor.
I’ve experienced tremendous growth opportunity with GEODIS and have been fortunate enough to have leaders that believed in helping my career progression. I started in our Chambersburg, PA facility in the Customer Service group and have since worked in Operations, Inventory Control Management, IT and now Key Account Management.
The opportunity to work at GEODIS has been rewarding for me in many ways. I initially started as a consultant on a 3-month project after returning from being a stay-at-home mom. I like that the company allows me to be innovative in improving processes. I also appreciate the opportunity to be able to make an impact in our community through our social responsibility efforts.
