Volunteers Needed for 2022 NVGAG

Volunteers donating their time and talents are essential to the success of the National Veterans Golden Age Games. The Sioux Falls VA is looking for volunteers to serve in various roles in support of the 2022 NVGAG to be held in Sioux Falls, SD July 18-23. Please click here to register as a volunteer and support our nation’s senior Veterans as they model “Fitness for Life” during our multi-sport competition this summer. “Fitness for Life” Mission:

Founded in 1985, the National Veterans Golden Age Games serves Veterans ages 55 years and older. Through its “Fitness for Life” motto, the Golden Age Games offers sports competitions and health education sessions to demonstrate the value that sports, wellness, and fitness provide to assist senior Veterans live an active and healthy lifestyle. The National Veterans Golden Age Games is a qualifying event for the National Senior Games.

The NVGAG Rulebook provides the qualifying procedures and rules of competition for the National Veterans Golden Age Games, and are based upon those set forth by the recognized National Governing Body (NGB) for each sport. In the best interest of the athletes, modifications and variances of these rules and regulations are permitted as outlined in the NVGAG Rulebook.
