"The job progressed smoothly and was completed on schedule. Drop from patio doors to ground level was higher than normal due to the house design and city's flood line requirement. Francisco was able to change ground level and grade it so that we maintained just 3 steps to the ground. A great deal of time was spent compacting the soil and base layer under the pavers. They used Calstone's new Quarry Versailles series pavers. After asking they returned to fill in gaps in the grout. between the tiles However, the grout wasn't holding at the step edge due to the large preset grout width for the Quarry Versailles. I had to called another stone store to get a method to fix the grout at the step edge. Until I found this solution, Francisco indicated there wasn't a solution. He did send workers out several months later to fix the issue. The price was a higher than our other bids. .All in all the job turned out very nice. Francisco is very professional and courtesy."

"Dropped off heavy equipment the night before. We got the city permits ourselves. Richie did all of the demo one day, waited for the interim inspection, then did fill the next day. Our electrical panel was kind of a mess, so he called an electrician to do the circuit removal. Left everything immaculate."

"The only thing that stood out was that originally there were setting it up for two people that were to come including the graded person who does layouts and things like that, and that person could not come so things like that hindered the process. Actually they were pretty quick. I recall it was like around 24 hours plus or minus 12 hours and it was a good quote."

"Wonderful! Dario was very responsive during all phases of the work. He graded, rock, and paved several driveways for me. He also assisted in stripping off an old lawn and grading for a new one. His prices are always very fair, and his work is excellent. I’ve never seen anyone quite as skilled in their use of an excavator or skid steer. He brings his laser and gets the grades just right. I recommend him all the time."

"The work done was pretty expensive. The work turned out quite well. I am very pleased with what they did. There were some problems with the bills when the subcontractor submitted the bill, which was automatically submitted to me. It was $1000 higher than what we had agreed upon. I think it was a misunderstanding with the subcontractor. People who don?t go through the bills carefully might not have noticed the problem. However, I don?t think I can blame McKenna for it. The crew that had come out was great. They were very respectful and did the work. They seemed to be extremely competent. They came out when they said they would. They worked quite hard too. They did what appears to be an excellent job."

"We had recently removed a cement path from our side yard, which left a 6" deep trench along the side of the house. I saw John and Kathy's ad on a website and inquired if they had a bobcat and could push the dirt around where it needed to be. He quoted the price over the phone and came later the same day to take a look at the work to be done. In order to get the whole area level, he had to move the pile of broken concrete, use the bobcat to break the dirt and level it, and then replace the pile of broken concrete (he could have hauled it away, but it's going to be used for a different project). John and Kathy arrived a few minutes early and completed the whole job in about 2 hours. Access to the side area was unhampered, but he did have to maneuver the bobcat on the driveway, which left some tire marks. Overall, I'm very happy with the work, and John and Kathy are a delightful couple."

"I originally hired New Image Landscaping to do some cleanup work in my front yard, and was so pleased with the work that Sergio and his crew did that I brought them back to do some additional work in the front yard and land scape the entire back yard. My backyard was a complete mess and needed quite a bit of work done. Several sections of the fence had fallen down and another section was rotten. Sergio and his crew put in a beautiful new fence and a gate. The fence allows for much needed privacy which we did not have before, and the gate is easier to open and more accessible. Lots and lots of work had to be done in the back yard. The area was uneven and needed to be leveled and graded, the irrigation system needed a complete overhaul. In one section of the yard that was the most uneven, it was leveled and new gravel was laid. In another section the irrigation had to be completely redone before the new lawn was put in. The terraced hill required new landscaping, and several other areas were cleaned up and new mulch was placed. My front yard looked terrible, some of the old plants needed to be removed and repositioned and new plantings to be put in, and the drip system did not work. Sergio and his crew added new plants, removed and repositioned some the old plants, trimmed over grown hedges and fixed the drip system. My front yard is now a thing of beauty. New Image Landscaping is the best service provider I have ever used from Angie’s List. Sergio is reliable, hardworking, HONEST, responsive and meticulous about his work. Sergio fixed a broken latch on a gate and it was not in the contract. I have several additional projects I need to complete, and I can’t image hiring any company other than New Image Landscaping. I highly recommend New Image Landscaping."

His price for doing the tilling and re-grading was less than half the other estimates. I think part of that is because he has the right tools to get the job done. His tiller was the size of a small tractor and the device he used to re-grade the yard was custom built by his father (who started the business)."

"Dago and his crew did a great job creating an attractive patio space in my backyard that was formerly a sea of weeds. They cleared the weeds, treated the ground to keep the weeds from coming back, and leveled an area to become an attractive crushed granite patio. My yard looks fabulous. Dago handled the job quickly and at a reasonable cost. I plan to ask him back soon to transform the rest of our exterior space. Highly recommend D. Garcia's Gardening!!"

"My backyard was an embarassing story of years of neglect. It was an unsightly mess. I researched a few landscaping companies. I was interested in a paving system of some sort to decrease the amount of upkeep I would need to do later. Brian Ott, owner of Zenscape, was resposible, timely and easy to work with. He did everything he said he would do. He purchased a pallate of slate, he removed the weeds and top soil. He placed the slate over the patio area while making certain that the area would drain properly come the Winter rains. He put some lovely plantings along the edges of the patio are. He went above and beyond by landscaping some of my other areas, including pruning my apple tree! I recommend him highly."

"Overall it went very well. There were a couple of issues at the end that never got fully resolved. Namely some cracks in the concrete that showed up a few months later. The vendor said it was due to settling and that the re-bar would hold it in place. He did offer to seal the crack, but i thought that would look worse. I believe the concrete dried too quickly and that maybe there was a problem with the mix. I would have like to have gotten that section re-done, but I had too much going on to have to pressure him to do it. Other than that the job turned out great and I would use Swanson again. You just need to be a bit pushy to get the details some times."

"Dan the owner/estimator was very good to work with. He communicated well. We agreed on a start date and time and an estimate of how long it would take. They did the work requested as requested. Joe the site manager did a great job with all the details of the project. There was a small snafu regarding not ordering enough sod, but they came back the next day (Saturday) and finished up as promised. Looks great and we are completely satisfied. Would recommend them to anyone."
