    After receiving bids from several companies, we selected Sunshine Contracting to replace all of the windows in our house with Sunrise windows, do a complete removal and replacement of all of the siding on our “Tudor style” house with James Hardi fiber cement siding, and replace all existing gutters and downspouts. This job was particularly complex due to the style of the house and the multitude of “Tudor style” architectural designs that needed to be maintained and replicated with the James Hardi fiber cement boards. This was also a challenge because the previous trim boards were all rough sawn cedar and the stucco panels and lap siding were vintage 1979 Masonite. The quality of the work performed by Sunshine Contracting was outstanding, and yes, we would contract with them again if we had to do it all over again. Their professional siding craftsmen had experience in re-siding Tudor Style homes and were able to replicate all of the intricate carpentry previously done in the rough sawn cedar with the James Hardi fiber cement board. Any concerns or issues that we raised, were immediately addressed by the team and corrected. The Project Manager and Team Leads were always there and available to us, and answered all of our questions. The whole crew was very professional and friendly, and they did a great job cleaning up after every working day. Sunshine Contracting has now taken us from a home that required outside maintenance on a regular basis, to one that is essentially maintenance free!     From the very beginning we were impressed by the personal attention given to us about our project. We felt as though we were dealing with an old friend who was more interested in doing a job right rather than pressing us to purchase the most expensive package available. He was always available to answer any questions we had or would come by multiple times to be sure we were pleased. The crew also was very attentive to making sure we were pleased with the progress. It truly felt as if it was family and they wanted to do there best. Not at all like it's just a job and let's get done asap. With covid management had many delays due to unavailable product, however they kept us informed, made adjustments to fulfill the requirements and also made us feel at ease we had made the right choice in companies. I suggest that you value your peace of mind that a company cares that you are happy with their work.     Sunshine Contracting was truly exceptional on all aspects of this major project from providing ideas, an accurate detailed estimate, status updates to quality installation craftmanship and delivering as promised at a reasonable price. Their in house install team were truly wizards of Hardee siding installation. Installation was completed well within stated expected timeframe, all while resolving intricacies, and attending to final details. Many in the neighborhood have already commented on how well the house turned out - as we are. They were a hats off pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them for any exterior residential work

    Ken, the salesman for Whiting Siding, Roofing, and Windows arrived at my house on Saturday and spent about three hours displaying the siding options that would be within my budget. Next we focused on the colors of siding, wood wrap, and shutters and Ken made a detailed survey of the structure recommending structural changes such as removal of shadow boxes and gable vents. Finally Ken drafted a detailed proposal. He followed up a week later and my job went into the installation queue. The Whiting crew worked hard and steady and did quality work. They were respectful of my property and cleaned up the job site thoroughly. After the work was completed, it was evident that all of Ken's recommendations were spot on and my neighbors commented favorably on the style of siding that Ken had selected. The new siding has "knocked" about 20 years off of my 40 year old house

    Lonnie, the estimator, was honest and very helpful. He worked with me to get an estimate for special requirements and advised on what work was needed or not. I've worked with him on multiple occasions for a few projects through the years. Patrick, the current owner, was very customer focused and ensured the work was done properly. He personally showed up to address an issue with the siding guys to ensure work was being done in accordance with our agreement. The crew was very professional and did quality work. I highly recommend them for any roofing and siding work
