    Fernando is my hero. He worked on transforming our barren, weed-ridden backyard into the family oasis of my dreams. He was a pleasure to work with from his initial visit for a quote to the completion of the job, approximately 10-12 days later. He assisted me in choices at the vendors I selected for materials, is reliable, and has a great crew of guys working with him. I can't actually express how grateful I am to have found him, especially since he completed our work just weeks before COVID had us housebound. His quote fit our budget, and his work was exceptional.     Beginning with the first phone call, and continuing through to the last email, all communication and services by G&L were handled in a friendly, professional manner. Sharon, Dee and their crew fulfilled our contract excellently. Dee was great with suggestions for the landscaping as well as hardscaping, since we only had a general idea of what we wanted, and weren't sure about specific plants and flowers, etc. He did a fantastic job choosing low maintenance plants, which we wanted, and making suggestions for colors and placement of other flowers. Dee also accommodated my request for some other plants not listed in the brochure. The entire crew were very hard-working, prompt, and attentive, and they did a great job. I can finally look out my window to the backyard, and smile, rather than cringe. Neighbors were very complimentary of the new yard. I would recommend G&L and would absolutely use them again for any landscaping/hardscaping project

    He is a father and son operation. I have been using their services for at least 15 years. He is very reliable and flexible. He has come and done things for me in addition to mowing the lawn. Benjamin has helped to pick up and put down some pavers for me. He has also purchased stone and placed it down in front of my home. He has also rented a rototiller and roto-tilled the garden for us. His pricing is more than fair and he has never raised his prices

    Mike and his crew were just great. It's so refreshing to work with someone that is so up front about the service that is provided and what the costs will be. I recently completed a house remodel and dealt with many frustrating instances of contractors not doing what was promised, not showing up and charging more than what they initially bid. With Mike, there were no surprises and my yard looks much better than what I had envisioned. He offered suggestions which kept me within my budget without compromising the final product. Mike's crew worked tirelessly for 5 days, working first on the fene and retaining wall. The pick axe and rototill of the soil was next which was very impressive to watch. The soil was made of clay which made it rock hard; but Mike’s crew tore through it and after mixing in the compost, made it very soft. They also leveled the yard, making it practically flat and helped place about 40-50 rock boulders. Finally, a new 4 zone sprinkler system was installed. Along the way, Mike explained the process in great detail. I was around for much of the work, and was able to learn about the importance of compost, tilling of the soil and the proper installation of a sprinkler system. I especially enjoyed the sprinkler system, and with Mike’s thorough explanation, now know the basics of sprinkler systems. Landscapers and contractors in general should take note on how to properly provide services to one’s home. My wife and I are completely happy with the work that Mike and his crew provided and cannot wait for the grass and vegetables to come in. I cannot recommend Mike and his crew more and wish there were more companies like his
