"The work was completed in two days. It took two days instead of one day partially due to the fact that one of the gate posts had to be set in concrete and needed to dry before wood fencing boards could be attached. The new gates seem to be better built and are using stronger hardware than the previous gates had used. As the installation project progressed the two installers asked questions regarding the details of the fence and how we preferred the details to be done. So it appeared as if they genuinely wanted to do a good job and have us satisfied when the job was completed. Even though some heat records in the area were broken during those days they continued working on the project until completion.

"The job went very well. Marc was right on time for the estimate and had great ideas about what should be done to make the replacement fence look good. His design took into account the area surrounding the fence and the fact that some of it was going to be built using existing support posts from our carport. We received the emailed estimate very quickly. On the day of the job, Marc was there to drop off supplies and introduce us to his fence builders. They got the job done that day and the redwood fence and gate look so nice and the gate works well. They cleaned everything up after completion.

"Miguel and his team were very efficient and professional. I got three quotes total, two from more established fencing companies. The others quoted $7500 for the job, while Ochoa's quote was $6800. They did great quality work, so the lower price did not mean lower quality in this case. Ochoa's Fence is a great deal. Miguel was punctual and professional throughout, from the estimate to the final day. He listened to what I wanted, and discussed options with me. They took down an old wooden fence that was in the way without charging anything additional. If I need any additional fencing work done, I will definitely use Ochoa's Fence again: great workers, great price, and trustworthy. They also did the work quickly. Small note: one of the other reviews here complained because Miguel did not provide the quote for his job instantly, but rather emailed the quote later. All three of the fencing companies I got quotes from did the same thing--this appears to be standard practice.

"Fred and Ali met with us at the house and we discussed the project. We did not have a clear plan as to what we wanted to do but both father and son had some great advice and suggestions. By the end of our first meeting, we had a pretty clear plan and knew we could trust Deco with our project. The work began promptly, Fred or Ali were constantly visiting the job site, following up with our many requests and changes, and making sure we were kept up to date. As the work progressed we were more and more excited about our new home. The owners are knowlagable, the workers are courteous and skilled. He then helpfully and competently suggested alternates that I needed and procured them at cost. Despite the change in plans he and his associate finished the job in time with an excellent result, and stuck to his original labor estimate. Being tired, I forgot about the deposit and paid him too much. Guillermo noticed and alerted me to my mistake, and returned the excess payment.
