Management Team

Peter joined Tecsys at its inception and initially led the company’s software development, product management, sales and marketing. In 1995, he was appointed president.

In 1998, Peter was appointed CEO and was largely responsible for the company’s Initial Public Offering. He repositioned Tecsys in the supply chain execution industry, and leveraged the company’s strengths in technology and supply chain expertise to achieve significant growth and become a leader in its markets.

Peter eventually moved the company into health systems and helped land its first major Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). He also led a number of acquisitions, taking a foothold in other vertical markets including retail, third-party logistics, healthcare and general wholesale high-volume distribution.

In 2019, Peter was recognized with an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® award in Quebec.

Mark knows that a company’s long-term success is heavily rooted in a disciplined approach to its bottom line. An expert in financial management with a focus on technology and software, Mark joined Tecsys in 2018. He is no stranger to tackling daunting challenges and finding the best path forward. In fact, he relies on these skills every time he hits the open road on his bike in the summer and heads for the slopes in the winter for telemark skiing and alpine touring.

Mark has more than 20 years of international experience and was previously Chief Financial Officer for Aptos Retail. In addition to playing a significant role in the formation and growth of the company, he led the successful transition of the business’ retail management enterprise solutions to a cloud-centric platform. Prior to his work at Aptos Retail, he served as Vice President, Finance, for Epicor Retail, a division of Epicor Software Corporation that was later spun out to create Aptos. In addition to building and leading teams with both companies, Mr. Bentler also played a key role in managing financing and M&A activity. Earlier in his career he worked with KPMG in the United States and Switzerland as a Senior Manager.

Bill understands that delivering customer success requires discipline, sharp planning, and flawless execution at every step of the journey, skills he hones both at Tecsys and in his spare time as an avid IRONMAN competitor. This approach drives his laser focus on helping customer organizations build winning supply chains through Tecsys’ go-to-market strategy and expansion.

Bill has a remarkable track record of empowering companies to overcome complexity by leveraging technology. Prior to joining Tecsys, he held executive sales leadership positions at Oracle in the North American Sales organization, most recently as vice president of key accounts and previously as group vice president of North America Storage Sales. Prior to Oracle, Bill was with Fujitsu for over a decade and held a variety of executive management positions. These included executive vice president of the Platform Product Group in the Americas and executive vice president of the Global Retail Business. Bill draws from this wealth of experience to help Tecsys customers establish their path for long-term success.

Catherine uses her legal acumen to ensure Tecsys customers and shareholders continue to find exceptional value in the company’s offerings. She joined Tecsys in 2014 and provides a variety of legal services in addition to managing internal and external counsel. As both an attorney and a recreational trail runner, she navigates interesting obstacles to find success along the most effective route—even when the right path isn’t always clear from the onset.

Catherine has served technology companies and their customers with solutions that span hardware, software, and services. Prior to joining Tecsys, she spent more than 12 years in the ERP space at SSA and Baan and worked at a growing division of the Software and Services Group at Intel. Catherine has worked extensively in North and South America, Europe, and Asia, and has held roles as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Legal Officer in the United States and the United Kingdom.  

Greg helps businesses bring their supply chain vision to life by leveraging Tecsys’ transformational solutions. He joined the company in 2005 and has a wealth of knowledge across sales and strategic business development. Having spent many hours watching his daughter compete as an equestrian jumper, Greg knows the importance of being nimble and aiming high in business and in life. He uses these skills to help customers establish an effective game plan when approaching technological changes.

Greg has an outstanding track record in leading software and technology companies to high levels of growth, market leadership, and customer satisfaction. He was previously President and CEO of Application Solutions Inc. (ASI) before it was acquired by Tecsys in 2005. He also held senior management roles in sales and business development for Ironside Technologies and other leading ERP companies.

Laurie knows the power and beauty of a strong brand and focuses her time on ensuring Tecsys is synonymous with quality and results. A long-time yogi who is passionate about art and philosophy, she brings a creative eye to the expression of the Tecsys brand and what it means to customers across global corporate and product marketing initiatives. Laurie joined the company in 2018 with more than 20 years of executive marketing, branding, and communication experience, as well as deep knowledge of the supply chain, technology, and healthcare sectors.

Prior to her role at Tecsys, Laurie was Chief Marketing Officer for Intalere (formerly Amerinet), where she led rebranding efforts and integrated marketing initiatives with a focus on healthcare. She has held other key leadership roles, including interim CMO and Vice President of Marketing for Savvis, a CenturyLink© company, Vice President of Product Marketing for SourceMark International, and Vice President of Marketing for the Marshall Group, a financial services provider. She also served as Director of Marketing for HighJump Software. Laurie is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has participated in several leadership and mentorship initiatives. 

Patricia comes to the office every day thinking about the Tecsys employee experience and how to continually make the company a great place to work. She keeps a photo of tennis champion Rafael Nadal in her office as an homage to her love of playing doubles and a reminder of the importance of teamwork and a positive attitude. Since joining Tecsys in 1998, Patricia has brought this spirit to her role as she focuses on retaining key employees, recruiting top talent, and helping everyone feel at home in the Tecsys family.

Patricia has over 25 years of experience in human resources management. She spent eight years in retail and over 17 years in the high-tech arena with such companies as EXFO Protocol, Positron Fiber Systems, Paramax Systems, Phillips Information Systems, and Bombardier. Between 1998 and 2000, she built Tecsys’ human resources team and successfully deployed the compensation and employee relations plan during periods of high growth as well as following mergers and acquisitions. In 2000 she left to build a start-up, Avantas Networks, and then rejoined Tecsys in 2003.

Vito knows that when it comes to architecting solutions to complex problems, mobilizing the team is the first step toward a successful result. He makes customer satisfaction his top priority and achieves it through strong service delivery with every engagement. Vito joined Tecsys in 2017 and helps customers build strong project teams while developing individual skillsets related to Tecsys solutions. He’s honed this valuable skill after years of coaching his kids’ hockey team, always encouraging the drive to win while building resilience and life-long learning.

Vito is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in partnering with customers to shape and deliver supply chain and ERP solutions across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Tecsys, he spent more than 26 years at Accenture, where he was the managing director of the Montreal office. In this role he grew, managed, coached, and deployed a 400-person workforce and significantly grew the office’s client base. 

Innovative R&D is critical to Tecsys’ brand promise in this dynamically changing environment facing our customers. Martin joined Tecsys in 2021 and leads this important responsibility to equip customers with innovative and mission-critical supply chain capabilities. As a seasoned and high-caliber individual, he guides overall product strategy and spearheads product development from architecture to delivery. Martin and his team truly embrace quality and scalability in order to meet challenges and drive business results.

Martin brings over 25 years’ experience in software development. He is a global R&D business leader with a strong record in building robust and effective product development teams. Prior to joining Tecsys, Martin worked for Nokia where he led an internationally distributed team of 500+ engineers delivering on product architecture, development and support. His experience and perspective help to serve Tecsys’ R&D department and make a positive contribution to the evolution of its offering.

Berty always keeps his finger on the pulse of the industry to spot opportunities for expanding the Tecsys suite and geographic presence in ways that address customer requirements. His experience spans the disciplines of financial reporting and planning, administration, information systems, treasury, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and investor relations for high-tech public companies. Berty originally joined Tecsys as CFO and VP of Finance and Administration in 1998 before moving into his current role in 2017. A family man through and through, he combines this sense of purpose with his financial and business savvy to support Tecsys’ long-term health and growth initiatives.

Berty has over 25 years of experience in technology, particularly with profitable, high-growth public companies. He played a key role in helping Tecsys through the process of becoming a public company. Prior to joining Tecsys he was VP of Finance & Administration and CFO of the Data Communications and Insurance Systems Divisions of Teleglobe Inc.
