Natali Veronica Germanotta (born March 10, 1992) is an American fashion designer and stylist. She is the younger sister of singer Lady Gaga.
Early life[edit]
Germanotta was born on March 10, 1992, in New York City to business executives Joseph Germanotta and Cynthia Bissett and grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.[1] She was raised in the Catholic faith and is of Italian descent. Germanotta is a younger sister of actress and singer Lady Gaga. She attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a private all-girls Roman Catholic school located on the Upper East Side.[2][3] After graduating, she studied fashion at Parsons School of Design, a constituent college of The New School.[4][5][6]
Career[edit]
In February 2016, Germanotta and her sister partnered with Mattel's Monster High, in conjunction with the Born This Way Foundation as part of the #KindMonsters campaign, to create a doll for the franchise.[4]
Germanotta works as a fashion designer, and has designed for and styled her sister, including for a spread in Harper's Bazaar in 2014.[7] She worked as a stylist on set for the film A Star Is Born (2018)[8] and also designed outfits for Gaga's Las Vegas residency, Jazz & Piano (2019–2021).[9] In 2019, she accompanied her sister to the 91st Academy Awards.[10]
