Empowers students to speak openly about mental health in order to educate others and encourage help-seeking; increases awareness of issues surrounding mental health, symptoms related to mental health disorders, and provides mental health resources for university community members.

African American Learning, Inclusion, and Guidance Network

Encourages the study of African American culture and provides networking opportunities, resources, and support for university community members with an interest in African American Studies.

Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society

Encourages superior academic achievement among students in their first year, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning and to assist in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society.

Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society

A national criminal justice honor society for those studying criminal justice or a related field. Recognizes the academic excellence of bachelors and master's degree students of criminal justice programs.

Alumni Advisory Council

The Alumni Advisory Council explores ways to further support and to engage alumni while advancing the university’s mission.

American Advertising Federation

Promotes the field of advertising. Showcases member talents in advertising and new media; provides networking opportunities and valuable professional information, resources, and support for members in the field of advertising to develop and enhance their careers.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics

Furthers the purposes of AIAA within the university to shape the future of aerospace.

Anthropology Club

Provides a forum for discussion of current trends and practices related to the study of humanities and social and natural sciences, while fostering community between anthropology students and professionals.

Association for Women in Science

The purpose of AWIS is to champion the interests of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics across all disciplines and employment sectors. Working for positive system transformation, AWIS strives to ensure that all women in these fields can achieve their full potential.

Association of Latino Professionals for America

Provides multicultural students with knowledge of growing trends in the global economy and provides opportunities to network with professionals and potential employers.

Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM)

Fosters the advancement of end-to-end supply chain management through a body of knowledge, innovative research, systems, and methods to create value for customers, members, and organizations.

Buddhism & Hinduism Club

The purpose of this organization is to create a safe and empowered community to explore, discuss, and participate in Hinduism, and Buddhism spirituality.

Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society

The purpose of this society shall be to promote and recognize excellence in academics, research, and service to the profession of student affairs.

Conscious Capitalism Club

Provides a medium for members to develop leadership skills in business that use purpose and value as a catalyst rather than solely profit, to make a positive impact in the world.

Criminology Club

The purpose of this organization is to share and expand our knowledge of Criminology and the Criminal Justice system in order to prepare ourselves for careers in this field or just express our interests in it. This club will provide students with opportunities for academic and social interaction and access to criminology and criminal justice research and current organizations.

Delta Mu Delta Honor Society

Honor society for high achieving business students. Officially chartered the chapter, Mu Zeta, in September 2011, making it the 294th chapter of Delta Mu Delta.

Entrepreneurship Club

Promotes, supports, and inspires students to be entrepreneurial. Connect and network with other students and faculty with the same interest, providing valuable resources, conferences, and events.

Epic Hospitalians

The purpose of the Epic Hospitalians to provide a network for hospitality students to connect and share ideas, experiences, and lessons learned with fellow students, peers, and industry members.

Epsilon Pi Phi Honor Society

Honor society for those studying emergency and disaster management and/or homeland security. Working for the reward, advancement, and recognition of emergency/continuity management and homeland security as a discipline and profession.

Epsilon Pi Tau Honor Society

Encourages and recognizes academic achievements, promotes the values of professionals in technology, advances the understanding and awareness of technology and promotes the advancement of education in the field of information technology.

Eta Sigma Delta Honor Society

Encourages and recognizes academic and professional achievements, stimulates the exchange of ideas between members, and promotes the advancement of education in the field of hospitality.

Fire Science Club

Provides an open forum where university members can discuss fire science, build a network of professionals, and promote academic and professional success.

Global Connections Club

The purpose of this organization is to unite individuals of all ethnic backgrounds, assist with 'English as a Second Language' needs, and provides academic, professional, and social resources

Golden Key International Honour Society

400+ chapters at colleges and universities in the United States, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa. Membership is invitation-only and extended to the top 15% of students in all fields-of-study.

Historical Studies Honor Society

Recognizes academic achievement among students and alumni in history programs, and promotes the study of history through extensive teaching, publication, and research.

Homeland Security Network

Provides field-specific networking, and academic and professional resources to support national safety and security.

Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) - Student Group

Expands recognition of the information technology (IT) audit and assurance, security and IT governance disciplines by extending education beyond the classroom in the areas of standards, practices, and certification.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers

Supports students, alumni, faculty, and staff with an interest in engineering, by providing a forum to educate members of emerging technologies and an environment for networking between engineering and IT professionals.

International Association of Emergency Managers

Largest student chapter directly affiliated with the International Association of Emergency Managers, striving to further the cause of emergency management in its community to increase awareness among its members.

International Diplomacy Club

Provides an open forum for discussion of international diplomacy and aims to unite students and alumni of all nationalities with an interest in international relations.

Jewish Student Association

The purpose of this organization is to create a strong community for Jewish students at APUS so that they may have strong Jewish foundation and connect with the larger Jewish world.

Kappa Beta Delta Honor Society

Honor society to recognize high performing associate program students of business, management, and administration; promotes personal and professional improvement and service to humankind. It is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society

Promotes, encourages, and recognizes scholarship and service amongst students and faculty members in all education disciplines.

Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society

Lambda Pi Eta strives to recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholastic achievement in Communications Studies.

Latter-Day Saints Fellowship Group

Provides a forum by which students and affiliates can discuss the Gospel and all aspects of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints, promote spiritual well-being and to foster and strengthen a balanced educational-spiritual life.

LGBTQ+ Students and Friends Club

Promotes awareness, education, and diversity among the university's community members. Helping members to meet the social, cultural, health, and political advocacy needs to become community models of the future.

The purpose of the Math Club shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of members interested in the field of Math, to build community among members, and to advance the science and overall knowledge of the Math career.

Military Intelligence Corps Association

Supports military intelligence professionals by providing a forum for university members to foster high military intelligence professional standards, share field-specific resources, and strengthen members’ commitment to the field.

Model United Nations

The purpose of Model UN is to allow the members opportunities to learn about the bodies, functions, and methods of the United Nations through first-hand experiences. We strive to teach members the means and methods of public speaking, group negotiation, and research, and to allow them to practice these skills in a competitive forum.

Mu Kappa Tau Honor Society

Encourages and recognizes scholarship and accomplishments among students within the marketing program; stimulates interaction and the exchange of ideas; promotes advancement of education; fosters integrity; and brings together faculty and students on a basis of mutual interest, understanding, and helpfulness.

National Association of Environmental Professionals

Provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into the multidisciplinary, professional association of environmental stewardship. NAEP accomplishes their mission through dedication to ethical practices, technical competency, and professional standards.

National Security Policy and Analysis Organization

The purpose of the National Security Policy and Analysis Organization is to help students in the fields of national security, defense, intelligence, international affairs, and related fields, develop critical thinking and writing skills, engage with national security officers, and develop critical leadership skills.

National Society of Collegiate Scholars

A non-profit honors organization that recognizes and elevates high achievers. Members are deeply committed to service, integrity and scholarship and, as a result, are impacting their campus and local communities every day.

Provides a forum by which university members can grow in their Catholic faith, share resources that deepens the understanding of member appreciation for the history, theology and traditions of the Catholic Church and the Judeo-Christian heritage. The group will foster a spirit of evangelization and service, including the promotion of service opportunities to the school and community.

Nursing Honor Society

Recognize superior achievement, development of leadership qualities, encourage creative work, foster high professional standards, and strengthen commitment to the ideals and purposes of the nursing profession.

Order of the Sword and Shield Honor Society

The academic and professional honor society for homeland security, intelligence, emergency management, and all protective security disciplines.

Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity

Political Science Scholars

Encourages scholarly discussion and debates, academic research, and extracurricular activities related to political science; including many academic genres including international relations, constitutional law, public administration, campaigns, and other theoretical arguments.

Psychology Club

Encourages, stimulates, and maintains excellence in scholarship of its members, to build community, and to advance the science and overall knowledge of the psychology field.

Public Health Club

Educates members, builds a network of professionals and peers, and keeps members up-to-date on current issues, changes, and developments in the field of public health.

Retail Management Student Organization

The purpose and mission of the organization is to gather like-minded Retail Management students to discuss and assess current trends and hiring needs within the Retail Management environment.

Saber and Scroll Historical Society

Promotes historical studies through the encouragement of academic research and the development of an online publication. The society also hopes to broaden the historical knowledge among its members.

SALUTE National Veterans Honor Society

SALUTE is the only national honor society in the nation recognizing and honoring the service and the scholastic achievements of this generation’s greatest veterans.

Spreads general awareness of environmental issues and develops service-oriented plans to get the university community more focused and involved with the environment.

School Counseling Alumni Network

School counselors are lifelong learners and expected to contribute to the counseling profession throughout their careers. In keeping with our professional responsibilities, continuing to hone knowledge and skills as professional counselors is ongoing, and our vision is to provide ongoing networking and support to our alumni through networking, mentoring, and engagement in scholarship activities and through supporting efforts related to equity, access, and social justice as outlined in our professional ethical standards and roles.

International honor society for students who excel within the management programs. The chapter was officially chartered with the university on August 29, 2012.

Sigma Iota Rho Honor Society

Promotes and rewards scholarship and service among students and practitioners of international studies, international affairs (IR), and global studies; and fosters integrity and creative performance in the conduct of world affairs.

Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society

Sports Management & Sports and Health Sciences Honor Society

Recognizes academic achievement among students and alumni in the sports management & sports and health science programs, promotes study through extensive teaching, publication, and research; to stimulate interaction and the exchange of ideas.

Students for Life

Save lives threatened by induced abortion, euthanasia, and the destruction of human embryos for research. Members seek to promote respect for life at and on a local, state, and national level, to educate on life issues, to help those in need so that life is a promising choice, and to work with others who share common goals.

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS)

Empowers members to make an impact in space exploration, and provides opportunities to interact, network, and learn from leaders in the space industry.

Technology Professionals Group

Encourages, supports, and mentors university students as they study within the Information Technology field, as well as provides the most current business and technology news to foster networking and collaboration.

The Wildlife Society

Represents and serves the professional community of scientists, managers, educators, technicians, planners, and others who work actively to study, manage, and conserve wildlife and habitats worldwide.

West Virginia Students' Alliance

The purpose of this organization is to bring recognition to issues that face the state of West Virginia and present opportunities to assist, serve, and lead projects that aim to make a difference. This club will provide opportunities for West Virginians and allies to build productive and meaningful relationships around community and regional service.
