"I interviewed 3 people involving concrete and tying in a french drain and he explained everything in such a way that it was very detailed very good. I was so impressed with him that I have hired him for 5 other jobs. He goes above and beyond. Sometimes he'll tie in small jobs into the larger project. I wish all contractors were like him. Our project was turning a partially finished basement into a family room/office and a Pittsburgh potty into a half bath. His attention to detail was incredible. "I would highly recommend FCLC for any of your excavation or paver patio needs. I used them to put in a beautiful new paver patio, paver sidewalk, paver firepit and built-in grill bar area! They did amazing quality work and the price was right. The back and side yard areas required excavation before laying the pavers. Very knowledgeable with their machines. A house’s foundation is always located under the house itself. A foundation is the load-bearing portion of a home and is usually built below ground, though different types are built at different locations under a home. For instance, a basement foundation is built at least eight feet deep into the ground under the house to create living space below the ground level of the home. A crawl space foundation is built under a shallow trench beneath your home—typically between two and five feet deep.
