Ram (Shaam) and Lakshman alias Lucky (Allu Arjun) are brothers. They are totally opposite characters with Ram being a diligent police officer, while Lucky is a carefree guy. Right from childhood they play pranks on each other and fight over petty issues. The sibling rivalry only grows along with time. Lucky falls for Spandana (Shruti Haasan). Later, she too falls in love with him. When everyone is happy, the goon Siva Reddy (Ravi Kishan), enters by finish off an IPS officer. He wants to become a politician, and files papers to run in the elections. IPS officer's father ( Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao) ask Ram to stop Siva Reddy by giving the proofs that his son collected against him. Ram wants to stop him from running in the elections and goes with proof to arrest Siva Reddy. Siva Reddy tries to finish off Ram. Meanwhile, Lucky steals Ram's vehicle to tease him and is attacked instead by Siva Reddy goons. When he comes to know that they were after his brother, he attacks Siva Reddy. An angry Siva Reddy goes on to become a minister, and decides to take revenge on Lucky’s family. Siva Reddy took his revenge. Lucky seeks to take revenge on Siva Reddy with the help of Home Minister Govardhan (Posani Krishna Murali), whom he helped in past to become Home Minister. He fools him by saying that he is suffering from Leukemia and requests him to charge him as a special police officer along with a team of "frustrated" police officers. He also tells him to do a pray so that there might be a chance of his survival and it will be a 12 hours pray and he does not remain in contact with anyone for that 12 hours, . MLA accepts his requests and makes him a special police officer along with a team of "frustrated" police officers headed by Bill Pandey (Brahmanandam).First he starts with kidnapping the auditor of Siva Reddy who tells him that Siva Reddy has many assets but on alias names so Lucky hatches a plan to capture some of his assets and then talk him into giving the list of all his assets then with the help of media, he traps Siva Reddy and his father .Now frustrated, the home minister who comes to know about the Lucky's plan request his brother to stop him by giving special powers. As Lucky arrests Siva Reddy, his brother Ram arrests him and takes him to the police station where the CM and Home minister decide to let Lucky go and finish off Siva Reddy. At last Lucky demands that his team should continue and Bill must be the head of the team; and also he needs an American visa.
Lili and Mili Chatterjee are sisters who are as different as night and day. Lili is mature and reserved and has spent her life taking care of her little sister Mili. She runs the family business with the help of her friend and general manager Ashit Mukherjee. Mili is a carefree teenager. Their grandmother, whom they lovingly call Thama, dreams of Lili's marriage. She has no interest in marriage and asks Thama to concentrate on getting Mili married. Meanwhile, Mili falls in love with Atanu Mukherjee, a famous music teacher from a local college who is nine years older than her. After briefly courting him, Atanu falls in love with Mili, too. Before he leaves, he convinces Lili to hire Atanu as Mili's music teacher. While with his parents, Ashit admits that he loves Lili and intends to discuss their marriage once he returns. Lili is enamored with Atanu and his music since the moment she meets him. She is even more impressed when Atanu sings a song she wrote on television. When While Mili is on a tour with her school, Thama finds out that Lili has softened to the thought of marriage. She calls Lili's uncle to town and asks him to arrange Lili and Atanu's marriage. Atanu's mother, not knowing that her son is in love with Mili, agrees to a marriage between Atanu and Lili. Mili is ecstatic to hear of her sister's impending marriage, especially because she thinks it will clear the way for her marriage with Atanu, but is heartbroken when she finds out that her sister is in love with Atanu. Mili remembers the sacrifices that Lili has made for her and her family and decides to sacrifice her love for her sister's happiness. She begs Atanu to marry Lili. Atanu's mother asks him also to marry Lili as she has already given her word to Lili's uncle. Atanu reluctantly agrees. During her wedding celebration, Lili notices slight differences in Mili's outlook and temperament. On her wedding day, Lili prepares to go to the altar as Mili reminisces her time with Atanu. As she is being carried to the altar with her face covered, Ashit arrives. Believing the bride to be Mili, he reprimands her for not waiting for him to come back. When he realises that Lili is about to marry Atanu, he takes Lili to a side and tells her that Mili and Atanu are in love. Lili finds Mili, dresses her like a bride, and takes her to the altar. When Lili says that she is not fated to get married, Mili vows to not marry until Lili marries. Ashit intervenes and tells Lili that he wished to marry her. Lili is surprised to hear Ashit's declaration, and the sisters have a double marriage.

Jadunath s grandchildren, Manmath and Nanda are poles apart with Manmath s waywardness, despite Jadunath s warning being covered up by the more docile and conscientious Nanda. An intriguing situation erupts when an intruder enters their lives. The family is very protective about an heirloom, a rare ruby, which is also their ancestral totem. Fearing that the same might have been stolen, the family foils the robbery but the thief is nowhere to be found. Much later, Nanda realizes that he has taken refuge in her wardrobe. The compassionate Nanda gives this intruder, whose name is Divakar, a chance to change the course of his life. She introduces him to her grandfather as a young man looking for work and the grateful Divakar takes up the job that Jadunath offers him. Manmath who is slowly sliding towards a life of loose morals, is perpetually in debt and asks Diwakar to fudge the accounts and give him a loan from Jadunath s funds. This leads to a confrontation between him and Nanda. The respect and love that Nanda and Jadunath shower on Diwakar changes him forever and in the process, he falls in love with Nanda In the meantime, Manmath has turned desperate and starts stealing from his own family. Who would Nanda support? A reformed criminal who is passionately in love with her or her only brother who has managed to survive by taking up rather dubious paths of action.
