Commencement 2022

Commencement 2022 will take place at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD on June 17^th & 18^th. The health and safety of our Commencement participants is our number one priority. In order to mitigate risks associated with COVID-19, participants must familiarize themselves with and follow the guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as pertinent local, state, and federal requirements. At this time participants are not required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination; however the CDC does recommend it. Participants may choose to wear a face mask based on personal preference, unless required by the venue. All participants are expected to contribute to a safe, healthy, and respectful environment, which includes following good hygiene practices (e.g. wash hands frequently). Participants also are expected to abide by the COVID-19 policies of the Commencement venue, which can be reviewed here.

APUS reserves the right to modify these Commencement Expectations based upon regulatory requirements and environmental circumstances. Any changes will be promptly communicated to participants.
