    Instability in the hail bearing layer is quite large while directional shear is quite mute. No wonder this elevated storm is mainly a hail producer. Large temp/dp spreads might cause some localized damaging winds from this storm once it collapses

  14. 12:15pm update: Satellite shows cumulus clouds increasing, and this is the first step to thunderstorm development across central Indiana. This graphic highlights areas likely to see storms first. The storm threat will expand across the entire area through the afternoon.

    Getting a little noisy out there this afternoon. Small hail reported with a few of the stronger cells, too. ⚡️

    A stray shower is possible Sunday afternoon, but the best chance of rain arrives late in the evening. Clouds increase throughout the day with highs reaching in the low to mid 80s.
