Las Vegas Water Removal

Working with WFM is the easiest part of this ordeal.Everyone else gives me the run around. Maria goes above and beyond making sure that I understand what's going on, she is very responsive and available anytime I have a question.The crew are all respectful and kind.

I called for an inspection/estimate to repair damage in a bathroom wall/floor. Miguel came out and answered all of my questions in an unhurried, professional way. He really took his time giving us a thorough evaluation of the extent of the damage, the repair options, etc. Ryan and his crew responded quickly to preform the work. They were thorough, had great attention to detail, very professional, and kept me updated on everything. I highly recommend them.

It all went very well. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. Left me no mess. The paragraph above gives a good description of work performed.

They came out the same day I called! Set up a plastic tent to the ceiling & taped plastic to the floor from the front door to where they had to work. "Not" one speck of dust! They did a great job taking care of our water damage. Very courteous and professional!! Brandon Worboys is awesome! I would recommend this company to anyone!!!!

In my opinion, they lack in every category. Would not hire them again. Appliances were damaged which they refused to responsibility for causing the damages.

The workers had no respect for furniture etc. in my home. Just a small example: stood on my JBL speakers, construction dust everywhere!!!!!!!!! I had to not only hire a cleaning crew to get rid of all the mess, I had to was/dry clean all of the clothes in my closet. This company refused to accept the fact that they dropped my bathroom cabinet by 5/8th of an inch. Made a gouge out of my bathroom cabinet and patched it instead of replacing cabinet. Forman for the job would walk in and out of my house without speaking to me and I would have to call him on the phone to find out what was happening and what the schedule was. The forman would walk into my home and wake me up to talk to me instead of calling me first to see if I was available. Forman accused me of asking for things to be done for free..............and he was backed by his boss that he never said it, but workers in the house at the time heard him along with hearing him come into my home after the accusation from me and confronted me and basically called me a liar. Asked the forman to move one ceiling fixture to a place where one was taken down and he told me no. The one that was taken down will have to be put back up. The same thing was told to me about a ceiling fan. A wall upstairs had to have the wall paper taken down, I told the forman that he did not have to replace the wallpaper, but that I wanted the walls that lost the wallpaper painted in a specific color. One wall was painted what I asked and the other one was painted white. They cut the tile in the garage getting construction dust not only all over my things in the garage but all over very expensive electronic office equipment, that is stored in my garage!

Water-damaged ceiling, wall, and floor areas were removed. Mold issues were remediated and then tested by third party. A different contractor, dealing with the exterior roof leak, gave a positive comment after seeing the remediation work performed. Overall, very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Had a water leak while I was out of town. I was able to get hold of them and they were quick to respond and start the clean up process. Very helpful in regards to scheduling and getting the remediation complete. I opted to go with a different company for the rebuild only due to my insurance coverage and warranties through my insurance that Advanced Pro was not able to match. The B for professionalism is because they couldn't seem to understand how my insurance could offer a better warranty then they offered and contested this more than needed. I would recommend them if you have an emergency clean up.

Though I gave low scores on Responsiveness and Punctuality, their Price, Quality, and Professionalism made up for it in the end, and though I would consider using these guys again in the future, I will probably try another company first before doing so. In any case, I'm fine with recommending them to a friend (given their strengths) but these guys would be perfect if they could address some of the communication and scheduling problems. Overall, everyone was extremely professional. Especially Chris, who came to look at the damage and give an estimate. No insurance was used in this case (I paid out of pocket) and asked if they could help save costs in certain areas (e.g. avoid painting, since I did this on my own, and then just do the necessities without going overboard--meanwhile providing a thorough remediation). The detailed estimate came in that evening and looked reasonable. Basically, out of three quotes, they came in second in price, which I didn't pick the cheapest, since the cheaper guys were a bit sketchy. Anyway, the team came to tear away the damaged walls, setup fans, apply anti-mold agent, and haul away stuff. They arrived early in the morning and got the job done in a matter of hours. Once everything was dry, they picked up the fans and the whole first phase was done. No problems there. Any frustrations started to arise when it came time to do the restoration and rebuild work. One thing I feel they could have done better is have the scheduling worked out ahead of time, and also know when everything would take place and be completed. I think any customer having their walls and kitchen torn out will want to know how long it was take to endure the transition. Luckily, I was able to get it worked out, but I had to contact a couple of different people in the office on my own to work this out, and I feel it would have been better if they had done it all ahead of time. The wall restoration and texturing was done punctually (about a week after the walls were removed) but the cabinet work for the kitchen took almost a month before anyone was able to show up to complete that, and I never really got a hard date on when they could come. This was the most frustrating part, in my case, because I didn't really hear anything on the progress of the date. I had to keep calling each week, where I was told to expect them "next week," but they were never really certain. One day I had expected on the estimated date, they did not show, and no one called to let me know they wouldn't be able to make it. Again, I had to call them. I was told their cabinet workers were heavily booked, which I can understand, but to have the scheduling pushed back several weeks seemed unusual since I've never seen another project go so long unexpectedly, coupled with me having to call them to get the updates. But once everything was done, I was happy with the end result. It's been several months since the work was completed and everything is fine. The cabinets and walls blend in almost perfectly. You would not know there had been damage there.

The cost is covered by the insurance. We were very impressed with them. They have been really good at keeping us up-to-date and keeping us in the loop. The guy has gone back several times for us with the insurance, so it has been very nice. So far, it has been going pretty good. I haven't gone for two weeks, so we don't know what has been going for two weeks.

It went great. They fixed the water damage as well on a few walls. I am glad I hired them to handle. Very professional.

I had water? damage from a leaking bathroom skylight that had progressed over more than ten years. Family medical priorities resulted in foregoing repairs for too long, hence my homeowners insurance would not touch this. My wife's illnesses were severe enough that I could not consider getting the work done without further complicating her conditions. When my wife passed away in April, I made the decision to proceed with the necessary work before any further damage occurred. My son-in-law recommended Ute Construction, because he had personal good relations with them, and he assured me they were top notch professionals. I let them know that I was paying out-of-pocket for the work. Mr. Ed Mahoney of Ute Construction came by, looked it over and offered to work with me on restoring my bathroom and working with me on costs. Ute and their associated subs were extremely professional, and the work progressed in a timely manner, with a few small delays, which are expected anytime there involves subs and materials. I cannot overemphasize the professionalism and quality of work. All the workers were friendly, helpful and involved me in every step of the way. They did not cut corners on work quality or materials, but did streamline the costs for me, which is very much appreciated. I would recommend Ute Construction to anyone who wants quality work, a fair price, and results in a timely manner. I was very lucky that my son-in-law recommended Ute.

I had water damage to my rental property due to a burst pipe. This cascaded into an Asbestos and Mold remediation. After working with another contractor and getting no where for 3 months, I contacted UTE. They came over and inspected what needed to be done and had a detailed proposal in 24 hours. They worked directly with my property management company and insurance company to make sure that everything was repaired as efficiently as possible. As you can imagine, trying to work with a service provider from a distance is very difficult. Needless to say, UTE stepped up to the plate in every instance. I am VERY pleased with the results. The quality of the workmanship is beyond reproach. I highly recommend them
