Roger's Repair Service
My water feature wall was full of algae and some dirt at the bottom because the water pump had not been working for some times. Roger drained the water, washed the wall and bottom with chemicals (double quantity was used because the algae was so tough), brushed the algae vigorously, rinsed and vacuumed the bottom. Roger worked for almost two and half hours. He also gave me some useful advice on pool filtration system and water quality control. Thank him very much.

TRANQUILITY PONDS
They installed a pond with a three layer waterfall one year ago. 9 months later I decided to have the pond cleaned because the water was becoming cloudy. I have since discovered that a properly constructed koi pond never needs to be cleaned. Had to call 4 times to get Holly to call me back so I could schedule a cleaning. She said the cleaning would be $200 then discovered I had fish and kicked the price up to $300. Why? The technician came out, removed the water and after telling him 3 times I had six koi he only took out five leaving 1 to die. Holly said they were not responsible for fish or wildlife and refused to do anything. I told her the technician was at fault here -that he forgot to remove one of the fish, she kept insisting they were not responsible. The gravel at the bottom was not cleaned at all. Now my pond is very cloudy and dirty. Her solution is to keep adding chemicals to a pond with fish and turtles. Really??Then hung up on me. WALK AWAY!

After a miserable experience with Pond Pros, who said they cleaned my pond (but in reality they only covered up the dirt and muck), I contacted Tranquility Ponds which was recommended by another resident in my community. Holly, the owner, called me promptly (even though she was on vacation), explained what they could do, and scheduled the cleaning. The cleaners came during the originally scheduled timeframe, quickly went to work, completely cleaned the pond and installed a new pump that I had purchased. Byron also explained the proper products to use in a pond, and explained why chlorine is not the right product as it ruins the liner. (Chlorine liquid, tablets and shock were what were recommended by the other firm...). The waterfall and pond looks beautiful and is operating great! I will definitely continue to use this firm!

The service is great and they do a good job keeping the pool clean, they will vacuum the pool if needed and they scrub the side walls of the pool liner. The pool guys are very friendly, professional and very reliable.

TRANQUILITY PONDS
We have just started using Tranquility Ponds. Our pond aerater was not working and for three days I have been trying to get a response from Holly to no avail. Her people were supposed to be here Tuesday but I was told by her designer that he thought the date had been changed to Saturday. So now the fish are not doing well because of lack of oxygen and one has already died. Holly charges twice the price my other pond people charged and obviously does not care about her clients or their fish. I have rehired Premium Pond Care who have been good and they are very responsive and are coming over. I would advise everyone to absolutely not hire Tranquility Ponds. I just had a phone call from Holly which she obviously made because I had emailed her to cancel her service, which I reiterated.

BND Pool Renovations
The sales person offered us a big variety of solutions. We decided for the black pebble solution with a mosaic fish. The technicians came to pump out the water and two days later they took out the old plaster. After the job they cleaned the backyard. They even vacuumed the lawn. Very good job. But then the office forgot to order the mosaic fish. We had to wait one week to get it. It seems in the office there is just one lady familiar with the projects. Finally they finished it. The pool looks great and we are happy with it. The technicians are very professional.

BND did an outstanding job with our pool / back deck. Craig's attention to detail was superb. He (or Paula) was constantly in contact reminding us of the schedule and giving us notice on what was changing. Each one of the teams cleaned up daily after themselves. I was impressed with the cleanliness of their work and the quality / high standards that each of the teams seemed to hold themselves to. The deck crew even recommended a different color due a situation in the yard, despite having purchased the original supplies. We were very impressed and would definitely hire them again and recommend to all of our friends.

Deuce's Pool Service
Brian was exceptional, chemical washed the pool and spa, replaced the pool filter, and quoted me a price for monthly maintenance. two days later the filter pump went and I had brian replace it. The new motor went bad the next day due to manufacturers fault. Brian was there a day later with a new motor. He has been available almost instantly when called and will take the time to explain how to fix a problem. I have hired him for my monthly maintenance and highly recommend his services. He's also very personable and patient with novice such as myself.

He responded immediately to my call as live fish were involved, then when he found that the job was not the type he normally did he called someone else for me. He told me if the other company could not help, I should call him back and he would figure out a way. He did not charge for the call even though he spent half an hour in the heat trying to see if he could do something.

He explained everything about the components, care of our pond, which I was ignorant about after having the pond for over 8 years. Worst experience of our life. Had to call and email then constantly due to several weeks when no one came. Would have taken 2-3 yrs to build pool w/out calling and emailing constantly. We did NOT get a final approval inspection since the gas fire pits were not installed. There were multiple no shows, lakes in the back yard due to cutting irrigation lines, not leveling the gravel, just a huge pile, dead plants everywhere (which they said they would replace, but DIDNT), taking about 8 months to 80% finish, and also the PLASTER has dark halos everywhere. Very disappointed and regret hiring this company.

Recent Review: We have used this company for over a year and by far, they have taken the best care of the pool. This is a rental property and as the owner, we don't get over to see the pool every week, but every time that we have checked the pool status it is absolutely amazingly clear and clean. BTW, the tenants don't perform any maintenance on the pool. We have used three other pool service companies prior to engaging Assured, and they all were horrible. When the freak hail/rain storm hit last summer the pool filled with mud and rocks from the landscape areas of the yard, Randy made the time to make sure that the pool was cleaned up quickly since our tenant was having a pool party the next weekend. We would highly recommend this pool contractor for any type of pool maintenance/service.

I needed my pool deck resurfaced and, after getting a few estimates, I hired Ultimate Concrete to do the job. Kurt came out first to assess the job and give an estimate. Recent Review: Capital Pools are very punctual. Every Wednesday our pool is cleaned and the chemical levels are checked for effectiveness. The pool man also removes all the debris and vacuums the pool. He is very quick, but thorough in his work and if we need any type of repair work done we can negotiate a price for the job. The company has been maintaining my pool for a few years now and we are pleased with their knowledgeable service people.

Recent Review: My wife and I started our backyard project towards the end of 2019 with Green O'Aces and could not have been happier. We purchased our house with a dirt lot in the backyard with plans for installing a pool, patio, pavers, etc. I had done a lot of research and we met with many many contractors, but we never felt comfortable with any of them; something just seemed a bit off. When we met Ace, we were greeted professionally and with respect. All of our questions were answered (and we had a lot!). Ace took his time and met with us to make sure he understood what we wanted to do for our project. His prices were very competitive and reasonable for the amount of work we needed to do. In fact, we had gotten a lower bid from another popular pool company here in Vegas, but ultimately decided to work with Green O' Aces instead. Our backyard project was nothing fancy and any issues that we encountered (and these were very minor), Ace and his team took care of right away. Green O'Aces is a one stop shop, which I liked because I didn't want to deal with multiple contractors and companies. Recent Review: We hired Joe to design and build our dream backyard, pool, spa and entire back yard. We visited Joe's offices about 8 times to revise our design using the latest virtual software that let us move lines and objects and see the results immediately. After a very detailed design process, we engages Paragon to build the pool. The result is spectacular (see photos). Throughout the process, Craig the construction manager stayed in constant contact with us with updates and excellent communication. Since we are pretty particular, we asked them to redo the finish on one section of the spa which was done meticulously and with grace. I would have no hesitation in recommending Joe and the Paragon team - exceptional work and service.

Recent Review: Had a great experience. New to the area and to pool ownership. Got several contractors to give us designs and bids. Chose Artistic due to great design, good reviews and comparable price bid. Ace Bedich did the design and supervised the build. He developed a design that was perfect for our back yard and house. Ace was great to work with. The crew always showed up on time and were courteous and respectful. Pool build was very timely and on budget. Pool was started at beginning of February 2016 and ready to swim by mid-April. We also had Ace do a travertine patio, pool deck, stone fireplace and BBQ station. Everything turned out great and we are very happy. Minor concerns and issues that developed were handled promptly and everything was done to our complete satisfaction. We have gotten numerous compliments about how great our backyard and pool look. Our family have spent many hours enjoying the pool. Ace was very thorough in explaining how to care for our pool since we were newbies. We have contacted him several times for pool questions, replace a couple of plants that died and other minor questions. Over 8 months since we started digging the pool and he is still responsive to any occasional questions or support that we might need. Really appreciate the support. Recent Review: Thank you, Clean Living Pool and Spa! Our pool has been plagued with algae problems for the past year and a half. After using two different different pool services that basically gave up on it, you have made our pool crystal clear in less than a few visits! It has been a complete breath of fresh air knowing that I can walk out in my backyard to a pool that is swim ready each week. You saved my daughter's birthday pool party! We purchased a house about 2 months ago and inherited a koi pond. Neither of us knew anything about the upkeep of the pond, equipment, plants of fish. I spoke to Holly about having someone come out to look at the pond and evaluate the condition it was in and to provide us with the information necessary to do as much of the upkeep ourselves as possible. We scheduled an appointment for the following week. Two gentlemen came to the house, Etson and a second guy whose name I didn't get. Etson reviewed all of the equipment, how to maintain it and the pond, the number of fish we limit ourselves to for a pond this size, the amount of food to feed the fish throughout the year and the number and types of plants we should think about. He also changed the heads on the fountains and reduced the water movement so that we could enjoy seeing the fish more. After the consultation, I felt much better equipped to handle the pond and will definitely use Tranquility Ponds to do my annual cleaning. Very professional. Great customer service. They've got a new client with us.
