Tämä malline linkittää Wikipedia-artikkelin kohteen auktori- eli tekijätunnisteet eri kirjastotietokantoihin. Suurin osa mallineen tekemistä linkityksistä tapahtuu Wikidatassa olevien tietojen perusteella, mutta arvot on mahdollista myös määritellä paikallisesti. Tietojen lisääminen suoraan Wikidataan on suositeltavaa. Mallineen koodi sijaitsee Authority control -moduulissa.

Malline on kopio englanninkielisen Wikipedian vastaavasta en:template:Authority control, ja tarkemmat ohjeet sen käyttöön löytyvät englanninkielisestä Wikipediasta. Malline pyritään pitämään yhteneväisenä englanninkielisen Wikipedian mallineen kanssa.

Sijainti artikkelissa

Malline sijoitetaan tynkämallineen yläpuolelle ja mahdollisen navigaatiomallineen alapuolelle. (ks. Ohje:Artikkelin_rakenne#Osioiden_sijoittaminen)

Auktoriteettitunnisteet

ToDo

  • Tunnisteista pitäisi luoda artikkelisivut jotta mallineessa ei olisi punalinkkejä.
  • Luokitukset pitäisi luoda jotta malline ei loisi olemattomia luokkia
    • Luokissa pitäisi olla kielilinkit
  • Luokkasivuille pitäisi tehdä selostus siitä mistä luokissa on kyse. Selostus kannattaa tehdä siten, että teksti tulee mallineesta, koska luokkia on monta.
