Timely response on the same day for estimate (very reasonable price) for the tree removal and schedule the date for the actual work at the same time. The day before the scheduled date, S1 tree called to confirm. They showed up on time and worked non-stop until the work was completed. The work was done nicely and efficiently.

Tree removal went well. The stump grinding turned out to be a problem, and in the end was not done. Thought we had agreed on a date for the stump work, but it came and went. Trying to reschedule, was unable to get commitment for a date. So had to call in another company to do the work.

Northeast Pruning & Tree

Jason and his crew did a phenomenal job taking down several large pine trees that were a bit too close to my house as well as ground down some stumps. Jason arrived when promised and left my yard even cleaner than he found it. As a bonus, he not only took down an extra tree at no additional cost, he even also removed lots of dead branches from the undersides of several pine trees in my back yard. His price was significantly lower than the other quote I received and I feel he went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. Highly recommend!!

Accurate Tree Service LLC

At the beginning of September, Accurate tree cut down and hauled away 20 pine trees that were very close to our house. They did the work for the price quoted and in the time frame they promised. I did not give an A review for a few reasons (1) they did not do a very good job cleaning up after the job. There were branches and piles of sawdust left all over the lawn. I found cigarette butts everywhere for days afterwards on the lawn and in my flower beds. I know these guys were all in a major hurry to go leave as it was the Friday before the long labor day weekend and I think they should have done a better job cleaning up (which I know they are capable of as most reviews indicate a solid clean up job). (2) they did not put down any plates/boards to protect the driveway and the lawn from the areas where the crane was driven. I see that this is done from review pictures posted by other customers and am not sure why it wasn’t done here as I feel as though it may have prevented damage that was done to the driveway and the lawn. If Accurate has a legitimate reason for not using this protective measure and would like to let me know what that is, I’d be happy to amend this portion of the review. All in all, they cut down 20 pine trees in 1 day which was impressive. I found their communication (other than communication about when remaining logs would be picked up off of the lawn) to be very good, and I would not hesitate to call them for any future tree-related jobs as they did the work safely and they were substantially cheaper than the other 3 companies I had quote the job.

Walnut Tree Services, Inc

We live in a residential neighborhood with very mature 75' plus pine, maple and oak trees. Trees causing significant damage in our neighborhood is not uncommon. In just the last couple years we had a tree bisect a neighbor’s roof and another crush a car down to the axles. I had two overgrown Maples and a very large Oak tree that required attention. But admittedly I had put off addressing them after having received an exorbitant quotation from another tree service. However, after a couple of summer squalls downed limbs on our property and threatening power lines I decided I could no longer ignore that our trees needed attention. While I had considered the tree service who had already provided me a quote a couple years back. My neighbor was coincidentally pruning back several very large Oaks in both the front and back of his property. I marveled at their professionalism, efficiency and asked my neighbor if he was happy with the work. He raved about how happy he was with the quality of the work and how reasonable they were. The company was Walnut Tree Services. Frankly, even with the glowing review from my neighbor and having witnessed the final product, I was a bit skeptical when their estimate was almost half of other quotations I had received. Was I missing something? I read through all the very positive reviews online and decided to take that chance. And I’m very glad I did. I scheduled the removal of one large Maple next to power lines with stump removal and the pruning back of a second Maple. And the pruning of a huge Oak that teetered over the fence I share with my other neighbor. The day the service was scheduled for was the same Friday that Hurricane Elsa was ripping up the coast. The horizontal rain was like a fire hose nonstop. So when I got a call from their office that morning I thought for sure they were calling to reschedule. Nope. They were calling to tell me the they finished the previous job early and asked if it was OK for them to come within 10 minutes. Perplexed and elated I said, “sure!” The team arrived with a caravan of trucks and equipment. Bucket truck, chipper truck, stump truck, crew truck and a massive grinder. All appeared to be state-of-the-art and brand new. I have had other tree services take down big trees on the property before. But I had never seen anything like this. There was a crew of 8-10 guys all working in unison with one another. The lead guy who was also the scalpel man in the trees was my point person. He made sure that he reviewed everything they were going to do. And made sure I was happy with the service the entire time. One stand out moment was that it also happen to be garbage pick up day. Our garbage cans and our neighbors cans were visually obscured by all their equipment. So the garbage trucks were ready to just drive past without picking up. Walnut’s crew realizing the situation stopped what they were doing and flagged down he garbage truck. And proceeded to move the garbage cans to assist in pick up. My neighbor who happen to see this was as wowed as I was. Everything was done with surgical precision. And like a hospital my property was spotless upon their departure. You would be hard pressed to find wood chips after they were done. So I just wrote five paragraphs about a tree service performed. I know. I can’t believe it either. But that’s just how happy I am with the work they did. And it’s companies like this that I want to support and continue to be successful. If you ever need tree work done. Look no further. Just call these guys. You’ll be glad you did. I know I am.

Regal Tree & Shrub Experts
2.0
Regal Tree, after grinding stump, left me 14 heavy wheel barrels full of wood chips and saw dust to remove. Then one month later when I went to open my lawn irrigation system my landscaper discovered they shredded the underground water line with their stump grinder. Regal Tree didn't return my phone, email, or text messages for a week. Then they said they wouldn't fix it or compensate me for the damage because they're "not responsible for underground utilities". I will never let Regal Tree and Shrub Experts on my property again.

Ryan and team were terrific. They removed about 6 trees from our yard, ground the stumps, and trimmed what remained-- and our trees are at least 4 stories high, so it was a massive job. Ryan's communication skills and organization are impeccable, and the team worked so professionally. They also helped us coordinate the complicated issue of getting parking permits to clear a small lot next to the yard so they could move their crane and chipper in. Our yard feels much more open. Highly recommended!

From the moment of the appraisal to the final clean-up I was dealing with a team of professionals. I called Andrew on a Monday morning he was at my home in the afternoon to conduct the walkthrough and provide an estimate for services for 4 tree removals, stump grinding as well as pruning remaining trees. His quote was right in the ballpark of what I estimated; the homerun was he told me he could have his team on-site the Wednesday of that week. His team arrived promptly at the time and they did an absolutely amazing job by 4 pm all four trees were gone and you couldn’t tell Andrew and his team left me with a beautiful open front and back yard and NO CLEAN UP. I would gladly recommend Andrew and his Team to anyone needing tree service.

Recent Review: I was very pleased with the work, though a little surprised that I had to dispose of the post-grinding wood-chips myself. Sean was quick to come by and give a very reasonable quote. His team arrived within a couple of days of authorization with impressive automated grinding equipment and had the work done in 90 minutes. Sensibly priced and good work.. This, plus previous work with Sean in the last 15 years where he competently removed whole large tress means that I will certainly be using him again.

Recent Review: Keith responded by email early the morning after the deal was purchased via AngiesList. He came out that afternoon to review the work to be done and was there later that week to complete everything. The crew was fast and efficient, and everything we talked about doing was done perfectly. They even took the time to clean up the small debris that was left in the yard area. A great experience overall, and I will be hiring them again for a much bigger job clearing out several large trees on the property.

Recent Review: I have used Collings Co. three times for tree removal, stump grinding, and general tree maintenance. Walter, the owner/manager, is straight-forward, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. His crew did the work they said they would, and left the area cleaner than they found it. While sometimes it is difficult to get the busy man by phone -- last year I had had to wait over two weeks for a returned call -- I recommend him to all those needing honest tree work.

Recent Review: We called and asked for an estimate to cut down a few trees that were growing over our driveway. He responded quickly, gave us a fair estimate, and was ready to do the work the same week. We did get another quote which included grinding the stumps so we did not use his services. However, in saving a few dollars, we did not get the quality of work that we saw demonstrated by Middlesex on our neighbor's yard. I would not make that mistake again.

Recent Review: Dalton and crew did a fantastic job removing several pine trees from my yard. They also trimmed a very large tree outside in my patio. Dalton explained, by doing it so would allow my light and more air to flow, and that’s exactly wha happened. I was very happy with the results and professionalism that I received from D&L Tree Services. I would recommend them with out any hesitation.

Recent Review: Stumpy's team did a great job. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently they worked. I was also very impressed by the final result of the stump grinding, leaving behind nearly no evidence that a tree was ever there. Lead time was a little long. (Overall, it ended up taking about 3 months from when I first contacted them to when they were finally able to come out to do the work.) That said, this is surely due to the high demand. Very satisfied. Would definitely use again if needed.

What do customers in Boston say about Tree Stump Removal?

We selected Mass. Stump & Tree Service after reading many favorable reviews about this companies services. We had overgrown arborvitaes, maple trees, and dead plum trees removed, and their stumps ground down in our front and backyard, and 3 other large maple trees pruned for better appearance. They came right on time with a 4 man crew and all of the necessary equipment, including a huge crane truck, tree chipper, and stump grinder. In a little over 4 hours they had completed all of the work that I had requested. I was impressed by their professionalism in everything they did, from expert pruning, to their careful work in removing a stump that was intertwined with our irrigation system valve box. There was no damage done to any of our underground pipes or cables, or any of our flower beds and gardens, even as they were pruning branches from trees right over these areas. When they finished, they cleaned up all the twigs, roots, and branches left on the lawn, only leaving the shavings from each stump removed. Since we live Shrewsbury, the logs from our maple trees that were cut down could not be removed as they could be hosts for the Asian long horned beetle. They did offer to transport the logs to the approved disposal site in Worcester, but we elected to keep the logs in our woodpile for firewood. We will certainly use this company in the future for all of our tree work as they are a great family team, devoted to customer satisfaction, and at a reasonable price.
