"Rene is the best! We reached out to Rene about structural issues on our old home. He responded promptly and scheduled a visit within a few days. He knew just what to do to address some sagging floors and areas of the house that weren't correctly supported. He did all the work himself (he sometimes has his son work with him). I have no idea how he was able to complete all the work on his own, especially pouring new concrete footings in a very small crawl space! He is a machine!!! He is meticulous in his work and really goes above and beyond. He left our basement cleaner than when he started!!! He’s a super nice man and it was a pleasure having him work on our house.

"After giving a deposit, we had to wait a couple of months for work to start, and it was initially started by an unsupervised subordinate. We had to monitor that initial work carefully because of problems such as walls that were not plumb and smooth. After Renaldo was alerted and came to more closely supervise, all of these problems were resolved. The bathrooms were completed in a reasonable time, always leaving at least one full bathroom accessible while there was work in the others, and all three bathrooms look beautiful. We particularly like the tile and quarts work, which is integrated nicely with the glass shower enclosure. Be careful to fully specify all details that might be important to you in the contract, because otherwise you could find yourself paying additional charges. For example, we had expected tile on the floors, walls and ceilings of the shower stalls, because the ceilings are low and plaster board would be susceptible to steam and water damage. Initially the shower stall walls and floors were tiled over membrane-covered cement board, but the shower stall ceilings were only skim-coated Sheetrock. There were substantial charges to have the shower stall ceilings replaced with cement board, covered with water-proof membrane, and tiled. That said, the bathrooms are beautiful and we a pleased with the work.
