"I have worked with over a dozen A-rated companies on Angie's List, and the Narrow Lane is my favorite. We have worked with them consistently for over 5 years. They are reliable, diligent, and very talented. I have spoken many times with the crew members and know that the Narrow Lane pays fair wages and respects all labor and finance laws. Here is a story: when heavy snow tipped one of our giant arborvitae over, the snowplow crew noticed. Before we even asked for help, the owner of the Narrow Lane was on site to assess the problem. His crew righted the tree immediately and saved its root system, also saving us a lot of money. The company has the intimacy of a small business, but I have been surprised by the breadth of their capabilities. They have a landscape architect with decades of experience. Many of the team members have a deep knowledge of botany. They have heavy equipment and take care of stonework and landscape lighting. If you hire the Narrow Lane for snow removal, the operations director will send you an email before EVERY winter storm discussing the forecast and the company's plan for your property. "I've started to use Robert and his company since 2014 for two houses. He was the only reasonable price for new landscaping. I told him what I wanted and he told me what he recommended. For my 2nd house I already knew he was more than fair, which was why I didn't hesitate to hire him again. His employees are very cordial, polite, and professional. They made very nice landscaping patterns and did a very thorough job. The proof in their work is always deep into the summer, surviving the winter, and then blooming again in the spring. The work he has done for both properties have always come back. My only gripe is I wish they accepted credit card payments because it's difficult for me to get a physical check mailed out. There have been times when I would be late for my bill because I kept forgetting to mail it out.

"Salo and his team did a great job. Salo spent ample time preparing an estimate and was extremely accommodating with all change orders (several). They outbid the other competing bids and provided 30% more finished work than the competition would have at their bids, and hit budget. We were a bit nervous at first because of the size of the job (rip and replace (2) separate stone walls - 38 ft. and 90 ft., rip concrete patio and replace with blue stone). They excavated roughly 1100 sq. ft. of my backyard and removed 800 sq. ft. of concrete to make this project happen. Salo and his team were professional and always answered our questions and made the necessary changes requested. Some finish work (grass) needed attention a month after being fully paid, and Salo and the team came back and fixed everything. We have already referred them to others and will continue to use them ourselves!

"Rudy and his team did an amazing job. I reached out to Rudy via Angie's list on Wednesday, we spoke that day and Thursday, and on Friday he and his team were on site doing a job above and beyond what I had hoped for. We had a big party on Saturday and the property looked clean, and garnered many compliments. It was not a cheap job, but it was a large job and a little under an acre worth of land they had to deal with, and they did a solid job.
