THEY HAD THE ITEMS NEEDED IN STOCK AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD, AS WE WERE MOVING INTO A NEW HOME THAT HAD NO LANDSCAPING. I WAS ABLE TO CALL IN AND USE MY CREDIT CARD TO GET MORE WHEN MY HUSBAND LEFT HIS AT HOME, BUT WAS THERE TO PICK UP MORE SOIL AND MULCH.

MY EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD AT MORGANS HOME & GARDEN HAS BEEN OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE EMPLOYEES THAT I DEALT WITH FOR THE SOIL, COULD USE A BIT OF IMPROVEMENT IN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILL. MAYBE MAKING CUSTOMER FEEL A LITTLE MORE WELCOMED.

.. They have the best prices and the most high quality dirt I've ever seen. Our entire block gets together about once a year now and we order the dirt. They drive the truck up and down the block and drop off each person's order. I can't recommend them enough. We just completed our remodel and I had our contractor use them for dirt, it worked out very well. They can divide the truck into 3 sections if I remember correctly. For orders over a certain price they have free delivery, that's one reason we combine our orders. Highly recommend them.

My backyard was an embarassing story of years of neglect. It was an unsightly mess. I researched a few landscaping companies. I was interested in a paving system of some sort to decrease the amount of upkeep I would need to do later. Brian Ott, owner of Zenscape, was resposible, timely and easy to work with. He did everything he said he would do. He purchased a pallate of slate, he removed the weeds and top soil. He placed the slate over the patio area while making certain that the area would drain properly come the Winter rains. He put some lovely plantings along the edges of the patio are. He went above and beyond by landscaping some of my other areas, including pruning my apple tree! I recommend him highly.

IT WAS GOOD TOPSOIL, NICE AND CLEAN AND IT WAS DELIVERED RIGHT WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD BE. THE DRIVER WAS COURTEOUS AND PRECISE ABOUT WHERE SHE DUMPED IT ON OUR DRIVEWAY.

They were amazing. I love the work they did. They were very accommodating and I felt like I was working with cool family. I am too busy to figure out what I wanted and Fernando worked with me and gave me ideas until I was happy. He also figured out what was happening with my sprinkler system and helped me work it out. They were trustworthy and honest and just kind. I appreciate that so much. I definitely have stored their information and plan to use them again. They installed shrubbery in a small area where grass had just died due to drought.

WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT ASKING ME THE SPECIFICS OF MY PROJECT TO HELP ME DETERMINE EXACTLY WHAT TYPE OF TOP SOIL WOULD BE BEST. GAVE ADVICE ON MY PROJECT. DELIVERED THE SOIL PROMPTLY IN A 2 HOUR WINDOW WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PURCHASE.

Wonderful planning, and performance of all the following: Remove all of the soil in our gardens to a depth of 20 inches, install a chemical root barrier, install new irrigation valves, and a new drip system. Replace all the soil with new planting soil, install a weed barrier, remove and replace Arizona Flagstone stepping stones, plant 70 new plants, fertilize plantings and cover with new mulch. Alejandro and Ignacio Sandovalale are wonderful landscapers and I recommend them to anyone looking for honest hardworking professionals. We are having them come back on a monthly basis. Eddie and his crew appeared everyday early. They worked diligently and neatly. No mess left behind. Work is excellent quality and all guys courteous, great suggestions for improvement of design, willing to what we wanted to happen. We had 3 bids and Eddies was the least expensive.

OVERALL, I ENJOYED DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. I HAVE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES, AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND EXTREMELY EASY TO DEAL WITH.

I've rented trucks from there before so I sort of knew the drill and was familiar with driving their trucks, which are a little tricky. They did go over how to make it dump, which was good because there was one little thing I'd forgotten. Written instructions IN the truck would be nice. Everything went smoothly. Made the trip and the dump in under an hour.

Quick & easy. We called and ordered the material. It was delivered where we specified on the day we needed it.

I was not able to be there. A neighbor said that they started approximately on time but they left early. The trimming was well done but the application of black bark was excessive in the front yard and did not include for some reason the back right side yard. Some bushes and trees were not trimmed at all. I think that Andrew was knowledgable and pleasant but I would have appreciated it if he would have done a greater portion of the work, as I suspect that he paid day laborers to do the actual work. The reason that I think this was that we had specifically talked aboutthe dangers of overmulching and covering up the base of plants. I was mildly disappointed in the result and would have appreciated if he had followed up with me. But I must say that I did not contact him to express these concerns. I think he would have fixed them. I would only use him in the future if I could be home on the day of the job.

These folks are experts in their field and very straightforward. You may need to ask for help and explanation because the folks that work there are very knowledgeable that sometimes they have hard time with newbies, but if you keep asking they will assist.

With the recent drought situation in California my husband and I chose to stop watering our front yard lawn and had also recently had a large over grown tree removed that could have possibly fallen onto our home and our neighbor's in a severe winter storm. As result, the yard was barren and in dire need of new landscaping for many months. We knew we wanted a drought tolerant landscape but didn't know how to start the design or what type of plantings would be best. We checked with several sources on line and after visiting Hansen's show yard in Castro Valley we chose Hansen Landscape Contractors. We met with the owner, Steve Hansen, who showed us around their large show yard to give us an idea of the many options available to us--different types of rock, pavers, concrete, plants, ponds, waterfalls, etc. Their show yard is beautiful. Once we decided to use Hansen, we were contacted by one of the project managers/designers (Louis Siegel) to get us started on the project and who also finalized the project with us. Louis met with us to get a general idea of what we wanted. We were informed he would draw up a design and informed us of the cost involved up front. He gave us a timeframe of when to expect it and how he would send it. Once we received it and reviewed it, we discussed it with the project manager. The design was broken down by price so we were able to approve or reject anything we didn't want so that we could stay within our budget. Communications were done by email and by phone for the most part after the initial meeting and found Louis to be very responsive to our calls. We were given timeframes of all the activities that needed to occur and given choices of the products so that it was what we wanted. The project stayed on track; we were always informed in advance of what to expect. The project manager was on site when it started, check in periodically as the project was progressing and did a final walk through. After the landscaping was completed the project manager did a 1 week, 2 week, 1 month, and a final check up at 2 months on the health of the plants. We found Louis and all of the other workers to be very professional. I highly recommend Hansen Landscape Contractors.

Previously, I hired him to remove dead tree and two other trees (one for free). Then, I realized the soil is exposed to the air and I request to get some mulch to cover up the lawn at the back yard. Oscar promised he will give me a truck when he have some mulch or chips. He did fulfill the promise and give a truck of mulch.

Very well. I ordered the compost by email and Saskia followed up by phone to confirm the price and delivery location. Cornelius delivered the compost as promised and was very careful not to disturb anything in the garden around the area. Turnaround time was quick, and it was easy to arrange a convenient time for delivery. Prices are comparable to other soil products in the area, and I think the quality is much better. Very nice people to do business with!
