" We recently had all our windows replaced in our 37-year-old house in Walnut Creek, CA. by Best Exteriors Construction, Inc. They use the Anlin Window Systems. We did received quotes from other providers, including Anderson Windows but their rates were not attractive to us. Alex Motronchik (Best Exteriors Construction owner and Sales Manager) came to do the window measurements in a few days. Then the pandemic happened. Every month, for five months Daniel Agonafer (Branch Sales Manager) would call us to find out if we were going to move forward with replacing the windows. We were given the option to finance and we did get our credit approved in a few minutes over the phone. Finally, in September, we gave Daniel the go ahead and schedule the installation. Their technicians came in October to remove and replace almost all the windows except for the kitchen garden window, garage window and two sliding doors. We upgraded our home security system which needed to completed before the windows could be properly sealed. After the security system was completed, we did have a delay before window installers came back. This delay worried us a bit since we were approaching Thanksgiving. They did come on the Friday before Thanksgiving. Alex and his team worked into the night to finished the job. They went non-stop. Their work ethics and expertise in their craft are Top-Notch. They also moved furnitures back and cleaned up the mess they created during their installations. I would not hesitate to recommend Best Exteriors Construction to anyone who may be considering replacing their windows. Switching from single pane to double pane Anlin Del Mar with e-grade window, we anticipate a measurable reduction in our energy consumption. "This was a very difficult project for a variety of reasons. The project was repairing significant water damage. In this type of situation, you can't know what is under the skin until you start tearing things apart, so Oscar and I cut a contract based on "best case" with the clear understanding that, when we found problems under the surface, we'd do a mod. We had a lot of mods, a lot of them complex, but we were able to get to mutually agreeable in all cases -- we had some "interesting" discussions, but always professional and respectful. The biggest problem was waiting for the City of Oakland to approve plans and for their inspectors to do their thing. The one real problem was the project manager, who could disappear and not respond to calls, e-mails, texts, or anything else (that's why I downgraded customer service). Oscar had to replace him and things went well after that. I was very happy with the quality of the work -- and E&M was very good in working with me to find better ways to get things done. For all the work that had to be done, I'm happy with what I paid. I'd hire E&M again without any problems at all."
