I love it so much when young feminists organise. We need to amplify and scale young feminist movement building.💛

We look forward to having the laws amended to let Nigerian women have more autonomy and improve our political participation. We will continue demanding for our rights to be recognised and treated as full humans.

Happy ! We started the month and day protesting and demanding for equal rights in Lagos, Abuja and Calabar. It is disheartening that our laws are biased against women and we're glad to read that the National Assembly has rescinded their decisions on 3 of the 5 bills.

You should fire your creative team or agency. Year in, year out, you have one of the most irrelevant and unintelligent IWD campaigns.

there are protests in Lagos, calabar and abuja tomorrow - international women's day because our lawmakers thought the best way to celebrate us is to repress and reject amendments to discriminatory laws. not very break the bias of them but they shall see us screaming them down.

So heartbroken by Bamise’s story. She boarded a BRT, was declared missing & now a report says she's dead. How many people have died this way? Women can’t accept rides from private drivers for fear of robbery & kidnap. The state's transport is also unsafe! Where are women SAFE?💔

This man sat beside me, just called someone & said, “I’ll miss you, babe. Should be back tomorrow.” On another call he says, “we just boarded; I’ll be with you soon, babe.” Then another call he says “will you join me in Lagos? What airline flies your route?” I am weak. Jeez!!💀
