Ruga is a Garo dialects which is extincted Sino-Tibetan language that was spoken in East Garo Hills district and West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, India. The last speaker died in the late 2000s. Today, people who identify themselves as Ruga are all speakers of Garo.

Ruga language is one of the Garo dialects which was mainly spoken in Garo hills before it went extinct. Ruga people have adopted Garo language and hence they have lost their language.
