Rafting is another exciting activity that is available to our students here with CISA! It is an action packed thrill ride down the river, and it certainly takes some bravery to attempt it. Would you give it a shot?
Community. Community is a key part of what a CISA retreat has to offer. From our host families and teachers to the local community, we would love to invite you to be a part of it!

Because we believe that immersion and practical application are the best way to learn about culture, we offer cooking classes here on our retreats! You will learn to cook traditional dishes, while learning some vocab along the way! Of course at the end, you get to test the food!

What better way to learn a culture than through food? Well, since CISA offers a cooking class you can learn how to prepare local Costa Rican dishes. While cooking you will also learn vocabulary, and of course at the end you will get to sample the food!
