Too many Vermonters can't access online learning or telehealth because of the cost of internet service. I voted for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which includes new aid for families struggling to pay for their internet. Visit fcc.gov/acp to see if you qualify.

I joined this letter. 89% of borrowers with full-time jobs expect to be financially insecure if the pause on student loan payments ends. That puts millions of Americans and their families at risk. It's time for permanent relief, and that starts with seeing DOE's memo to .

Energy-efficient housing saves families money + protects our planet. There's great work happening in Vermont to make mobile homes more efficient, but we must update long-ignored energy efficiency standards to make efficient housing accessible to everyone.

Proud to join the Elmore community in supporting their rural post office. Postal service is essential to community wellbeing, but the USPS faces serious challenges. We must invest in the USPS and strengthen its rural operations to ensure Vermonters get the service they need.

When I was a young man, I had the honor of hearing Dr. King speak in person. He spoke of love, hope, and commitment to ending racism. His words stirred me and they sustain me today. Let us honor his memory and vision and continue the fight for equality and voting rights for all.

Under the American Rescue Plan, families received monthly Child Tax Credit payments, helping folks pay for groceries, bills, and school supplies. That program has expired but we won’t stop fighting for families to receive those payments again by passing the Build Back Better Act.

One year ago today, I stood in the House chamber as a violent mob attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. It was harrowing. What’s clear from that day is that we need to do all we can to protect and strengthen our democracy.
