    I dread waking up every morning after less than 4 hours of sleep to severe pain, joints crushing, locked up muscles, tremors, sweating, shaking, headache, nausea & having to wait at least 2 hours to get out of bed. Every doctor needs to experience this!! 😖

    What if as part of HR initiative one town or hosp system conducted a study that anyone who shows up to the hosp asking for pain meds gets them for a month. I know you’ll say “we already did that and it caused the opioid crisis.” I’m serious. What could it hurt?

    There is not a program more effective than denying essential pain relief to & by demonizing so that complications of untreated, severe pain may proceed unimpeded. First will disappear from public view as pain makes going out impossible. Then slowly

    It is difficult for someone to admit they are or . Doing that brings immediate judgement from the crowd and a drenched public. But I know better. Pain patients are much nicer people than myself. They have been tried by fire.
