KJ's Market is a supermarket chain operating primarily in South Carolina. It is owned by Lowes Foods. kJ's supermarket has an annual revenue of $356,000,000.[citation needed]

History[edit]

KJ's Market began in 2006 after opening its first store in Florence, S.C. In the years following, KJ's gained a greater footprint in the Southeastern region. A typical KJ's store offers locally focused, still offers a wide variety of choices, numerous in-store services, prompt and friendly service, and everyday low prices. KJ's Markets are known for their superior meat program and locally sourced produce.[2][3][4][5] On September 1, 2020, it was announced that the chain acquired 20 former BI-LO locations from Southeastern Grocers. In 2021, the stores were rebranded as KJ's, IGA and Lowes Foods.[6]
