Go to the profile of the user you want to write and click
Write message. If you don't see this button under the user's profile picture, that means the user has restricted who can write them in their privacy settings.
You can send a message to a user you already have a chat with in
Messenger. To do this, start typing the person's name in the search bar at the top of the chat list.
In the Messenger section, you can create a group chat with several members. Click the pencil icon above the chat list, select the members and enter a chat name.
Besides regular messages, you can also send self-destructing and silent messages on the mobile
app. To do this, type your message and tap and hold the send button.
For self-destructing messages, you can select for the message to remain between 15 seconds and 24 hours before disappearing. As soon as the time is up, the message will self-destruct, and information about this will be displayed in its place.
If the receiver takes a screenshot of the self-destructing message on the app, all members of the chat will be notified.
When sending silent messages, the receiver will get a notification without sound.
