All the jobs were completed promptly and with great attention to detail. Noel even worked on a Sunday to help us meet a deadline. Noel runs his handyman business very professionally - uses proper 1-page contracts, accepts credit cards, responsive and punctual, has all the right tools in a super tidy work van. We would strongly recommend Noel Jarrett to any homeowner, and we definitely would use his services again. One item we didn't discuss is what to do with the material (now garbage) that the contractor removes so that replacement material can be put in its place. (e.g. old ceiling tiles; old wooden boards). It appears that taking away such debris or putting them in our garbage can is not in the scope of Noel's services. This is not a criticism, just a reminder that this should be discussed upfront with all handymen.

On the first day (4 hours) he removed the old ceiling tiles. I took care of disposal. He came back and began installing tiles (4 hours). Unfortunately, a large number of the tiles he installed on one side of the garage fell down. He returned with an assistant and reinstalled the ceiling tiles. The entire job required the two men for a total of two days. So, I had him alone as part of the Angie's list promotion for two half-days, and then was sufficiently impressed to hire him and an assistant for two full days. The money was well spent. My total costs, including ceiling tiles, were significantly less (estimates from $1,000 to $1200 more) than local contractors wanted for the job. Mr. Decker and his assistant were very good about clean up and making sure everything was properly done. I will ask him to consider other jobs as I restore this 1950 design East End house.

Kevin and AJ were both wonderful to work with and the tile installation went flawlessly and looks amazing. I tend to worry about details and consequently I was in their face all too often. They addressed every concern I had with incredible patience and professionalism. They worked with me without complaint every time I wanted to change things up. It went very well. Rob came on time with mask on. He was polite, knew exactly what had to be done, very neat (when he left you wouldn't even know any work was performed). He was meticulous. When someone shows pride in what they do you know it'll get done correctly. Price was a little high (cost more than fan & light kit) but guess that's probably what everyone charges. Wouldn't know since no one else bothered to call. I'm glad Handypro called & will definitely use them again.
