Jaser was wonderful and very professional. He helped with picking out tile that complemented the previous scheme and that saved me money. He pricing is very reasonable and he does excellent work. I am very satisfied with the work that he did and would definitely recommend his company for home remodeling projects. I'm currently picking out tile for my next home improvement project.

I have used Madelyn and her crew from Highland Paint Restoration for the past 14 years, on both of my historic houses - 1940 Bungalow, 1932 Craftsman. I WILL NOT use anyone else for my painting needs. Highland Paint Restoration is exacting, thorough, and professional, from negotiating the job, to performing services, to clean-up. They have matched discontinued paint colors, made suggestions I never would have dreamed, and repaired damages to my drywall and plaster, that I deemed impossible. Five stars! A+

I ended up having to get their work remediated. The quality of the work itself (beyond the basic) was amateur. It was quite visible and they came back out two or three times to match the pattern on the ceiling and they just couldn't do it. We made an appointment for another Saturday and they just didn't show up. It seemed like I was put on his schedule as opposed to him being on my schedule. I sent them a text telling them not to come back out and that I would pay them for the work that they did do less the cost of how much it would take to fix the work. I ended the relationship. It just didn't go well at at all.

They were very late, and rushed because they still had several appointments after ours. I think the deal was for plaster repair or paint in one room. We got about one hour's work out of two guys. They didn't even want us to remove the pictures from the walls so the job was not particularly thorough. As they were wrapping up we pointed out several cracks that they had overlooked. Obviously when you get plaster repaired you will also need to repaint the room. The paint estimate was $425 for a 12X12 room, which was higher than we wanted to pay. They currently have a deal on Angie's List to paint a room for about a third of that amount, and I was able to get another painter in for half. On the positive side, both workers were very nice and they repaired a tear in the hallway wall (from removal of an old alarm pad) that they technically did not have to do.

I discussed this project in detail with Larry Givens when he came to my home to prepare his estimate. The estimate/proposal was adequately detailed with respect to the work that would be done and the price was fair. We were able to schedule the work quickly. The painting crew (two non-smokers) did exceptional work and the rooms look great! They worked steadily and finished the job quickly (two days). They moved and covered the furniture to protect it from the job. Clean up was excellent.

I called because I have old plaster and lath walls. Madelyn did an amazing job repairing and preparing our plaster walls and ceilings for painting. I think the prep work is what separates the pros from the amateurs. Our walls now look perfect and the price was more than reasonable.

The renovation went great and I am pleased with the result. (And so are my grandkids!) The pool needed new coping and tile after 22 years of regular use and now it looks brand new. My thanks to the whole team at Anthony and Sylvan Pools.

I purchased an historic Victorian home several years back, and wanted to give it a new paint color. After selecting the colors, I chose several painters listed on Angie's List for quotes. The prices were fairly close for all three of them, but I felt that Madeline at Highland Paint Restoration (which was a much smaller company than the other two) would give my home the individual attention that it needed. Since my older home required more detailed painting techniques that the typical paint job, I just didn't want a large painting company to come in and efficiently throw paint on it as fast as they could. I wanted someone who would take their time and do the job right. Madeline also gave me good suggestions that the two larger painting firms did not. The paint job and plaster repair went well. They did a beautiful job and several neighbors told me how great it looked. And just as I thought Madeline did give me the individual attention that I was hoping for. When I called her after hours one day with a concern that I had about the job, she immediately came over that evening and helped resolve the situation. I doubt that the two larger firms would have given me that kind of service after hours. I highly recommend this company.

We're remodeling our kitchen and wanted to save as much money as possible by doing most of the work ourselves. After doing the electrical work and removing our walk-in pantry, we decided to put in all new drywall and to patch the ceiling ourselves. However, we had absolutely no idea on how to plaster the ceiling and the walls without it looking like multiple puzzle pieces. We called around and got multiple estimate. Highnote came out the next day to give us an estimate. Their price was the most reasonable. The mudding started the next day and they sanded it down the day after. So basically, within 4 days of us initially calling them, we got an estimate, the work was done and finished. I'm very happy with the end result.

Ana and Jose have a wonderful team and provide very professional high grade craftsmanship. I had called them to do work on a 94 year old home with Plaster Lathe ceilings. There were two large areas that had damage from a leak and moved closet wall. I got an estimate from them to repair the holes, patch all of the cracks in the ceilings and apply a light coat of new plaster on the ceilings leaving them ready for paint. I had set a date for the work to begin but had to postpone not once but twice because the leak had not been properly fixed by another service provider. Each time I called them to explain my dilemma, however Ana told me they treat each job like their own home and that I had to be sure the leak was fixed, they understood and would reschedule. Despite my own frustration at not being able to proceed, they were very calm about it, and were patient until I had the situation resolved. After these two delays, the work was finally undertaken and completed, and I was so impressed with the quality, that I am having them come back to do other rooms of the house as well! They also kept to the original Estimate that they quoted me, and cleaned up well after all of there work which by its nature can be messy. I found them trustworthy and respectful. I wholeheartedly recommend their services!

They did a good job and I had no problems with them. They did what they said that they would do and they were on time. I spent about $450 to $500 for the work that they did. Their company is a small family owned company. They did the work and they were punctual. If needed, I would use them again in the future if the price is right.

Had several other estimates 6 months prior then I stumbled upon Milton and am very pleased I did. Milton was very laid back and true to his word. When we were able to start our project I contacted Milton gave him the green light and within days he started and was finished much earlier than I thought he would be. The hole project took less than a week from draining to filling. His employees definitely showed pride in there work and my pool looks great. When they left each day the work area was clean and secured. I was not able to be there when the actual plastering was done and Milton did something I have never had another contractor do, he texted me pictures and a video of work in progress all they way to filling the pool, a neat idea. When Milton first came to the house to give the quote, we began talking about the pool and determined he and his crew was the subcontractor 14 years earlier and actually found him and another worker in our pictures from 14 years ago. I would definitely use his services again, hopefully in another 14 years or so.

Mr. Hourican was responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. His team did the work as promised. We had a few problems--the crew put the banister in the garbage rather than reinstalling it, and they lost several good brass switch plate covers. There were also a couple of difficult areas where the work was initially sub par. Mr. Hourican corrected the problems as soon as they were brought to his attention and reimbursed us for the lost switch plate covers.

Work was exceptional and attention to detail was obvious. They worked very hard, were extremely careful in the areas they worked covering and protecting floors and walls. They went beyond what we expected and what they estimated, was the actual cost. They brought up concerns and questions where needed and used covid-19 protection. I would recommend this husband and wife couple to anyone needing interior repainting and wall or ceiling repair.

Madelyn was fantastic - the work was done quickly and affordably. She was easy to work with and a good communicator. She went above and beyond to match our wall paint color perfectly and sealed existing cracks in our ceiling. If I need future paint or plaster work I know exactly who to call!
