Atlanta Popcorn Ceiling Removal

First, I have used Judy as the painter and wallpaper removal in the past. She is A++++. I have lived in my house for over 30 years and had at least 4 other painters. Interior painters I had before her I had to call back and it was still not right. Judy does it right the first time. Barry removed my popcorn ceiling and installed a new light fixture in my dining room and did a great job. Very easy to work with and very professional. Glen repaired my roof and ceiling and cleaned my gutters. Again, easy to work with and very professional. He also found another leak I had on the roof and fixed it. I am VERY IMPRESSED with the quality of work from everyone. The even better part is they CLEAN-UP. I have had so many workers that have left a mess. This is the company I will use to do everything they do. They are busy because they are good.

The painting, which was performed by a previous painter, had to be repainted. Victor Walters was awesome. He arrived on time and completed the painting in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, at my request, he used the paint that the previous painter left for the ceiling. It turned out to be the wrong color. Victor followed up with a call and reassured me not to worry that he would return to make it right. I am grateful for his concern and reassurance and would request him again for future jobs for me, my family and friends. Barbara

Hired PH to assist with multiple tasks because of the reference in this site as well as his competitive proposal. He helped patch my drywall, replaced baseboards, removed my popcorn ceiling and painted the whole place. He was always on time and did a great job sending me constant updates. Really appreciated his daily text updates with summary of the tasks completed and pictures documenting the progress. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Keith Tindle did a really good job handling all this by himself. it was great working with him and I sure will refer him to my contacts and will reach out to him for future handyman work.

Mike delivered the materials in advance of planned start date. Crew showed up as scheduled and completed the tear out and replacement in one day and returned to sand. Prime and painting was done by me.Mike returned after all work was complete to inspect and see if I was satisfied with the work. Job was paid on completion as there was no deposit. Room looks great.

Very punctual, arrived right at 8am as agreed. My down-stairs neighbor sustained water damage to his ceiling from my condensate pipe being blocked and overflowing. It was some ugly damage and now you can't even tell it was repaired-- all my neighbors with water damaged ceilings needing pop-corn are standing in line to utilize his skills. Very skillful with the old 1980's technology of popcorn ceilings, very handy with drywall and drywall mud, cheerful, knowledgeable and works hard. McGill Place Condo people LOVE him!!

I had a wonderful experience From the initial conversation on the phone with Ann to the end of the repairs . They were quick to respond and come to my home to give me an estimate. In the day of the repairs, they gave me a 15 minute window for their arrival and were there right on time. The work exceeded my expections and I was very happy with their professionalism and friendliness. I would definitely hire them again .

.I'd like to start this review with the fact that I have used AndyOnCall multiple times. I'd also like to restate the fact that Andy On Call uses Independent Contractors. It is stated in their profile but I figured I'd explicitly restate that fact. I am not rating on Price at this point, since the price will depend on which Independent Contractor shows up at your house. If you have one that you like and are familiar with, you might be able to request them; otherwise its up in the air as to who shows up and how much it might cost. The times that I have used AndyOnCall the different Independent Contractors have been very nice, courteous and have done a good job. I figure, once you find that person, just try to contact them directly rather than going through Andy On Call. Secondly to note with anybody contacting AndyOnCall; if you are a brand new customer, contacting them via Angies List is probably a good bet; otherwise if you can call them, I would recommend it. If their lines are down, you might be SOL. My personal experience includes contacting them via Phone in attempt to schedule work that was already estimated. Their lines kept ringing and hanging up on me for 30 minutes. I tried every few minutes.. for 30 minutes. Frustrated, I resorted to contacting via the estimating form online AND via Angies List. If you contact via Angies List, you will be messaged back via Angies List. So if you don't check your messages frequently, you may not be called or emailed back or notified. I never received anything back from the online form; so I called back the next day and the lines were working again. Anyhow all this trouble resulted in miscommunications, an increased price to do the same work (see independent contractor note above), frustration and crying. Please note, the miscommunications, even due to the fact that their lines were down or whatever the fact was that was wasting my time, will be at the fault of the customer. For this particular instance I am moving ahead with the work because I cannot afford to take another day off and wait for a different contractor to arrive at my house This experience has been terrible for me and I"ll never go through AndyOnCall again, if I already am aware of existing independent contractors.

Craig had to break up the old cast iron oversized tub to get it out. Then all the tub walls and floor tile were removed. The drain was relocated and new shower valves installed. A bench, plumbing wall and extra support for handicap bars were framed. Craig then installed floor to ceiling ceramic tile over Durock wall board. The shower bench was also tiled. The floor was tiled on a diagonal pattern. Popcorn ceiling was removed , the ceiling painted and crown molding stained and installed. A new high efficiency toilet was installed. The non tiled part of the shower room was painted. Craig can do every home repair/ remodel task and do it exteremely well.

So far the results look very professional and appealing. The work was completed in a short amount of time and they cleaned-up fully after they were done. They communicated the various options available to me for each repair job and allowed me to select the option which best fit my needs and budget.

The quality of the work is excellent. Chris is very easy to work with, incredibly reliable and skilled. His pricing was very fair. I will absolutely hire him in the future and highly recommend him.

The installer installed 2 Jim Beam display cabinets. He coordinated with the direct express driver to pick up the old fixtures and drop off the new fixtures for installation. He coordinated with the CVG security and maint. to bring the fixtures in on a 4 wheel half ton furniture dolly. He uninstalled the old fixtures and disposed of them. He removed ceiling panels and drop ceiling attached to top of existing cabinet, and tilework and grout into existing fixtures and removed trim and crown molding from the display. Existing cabinetry was built onsite and connected to adjacent display units and had to be strategically removed in pieces to prevent damage to adjacent units. He worked with the Senco Electrician to disconnect and reconnect power to the LED fixtures. Mike was very attentive, professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He made my job of managing the project a lot easier and always checked in with me to give me updates!

They totally lived up to expectations. They did excellent work, arrived when they said they would, and got the work done in the time that was quoted. They left the work area very clean and were very kind and respectful to my elderly father who lives in the area they were working. I plan to use them again soon to paint the outside of my house and to re-work the gutters on my house.

Instead of cutting out one big piece, the repairman cut dots across my ceiling, lost his drill (it broke off) in one of the ceiling boards and he had to cut additional holes to find it. He repaired the drywall by simply putting the ceiling pieces back in their respective holes and spackling them back up in the ceiling using quikcrete. I can still see the imprints of the pieces that he cut out, my ceiling is still uneven and my ceiling is a different color there. I only gave them a C because the owner reached out to me, but it was too little too late

Extremely satisfied with the work that was done! Apoleen installed my light fixtures and ceiling fan, service was fast and professional!
