"I had a yellow jacket nest under the siding of my home near my backdoor. Multiple attempts at DIY treatment were ineffective. I called Richland Pest and Bee Control and they called me back within an hour. The call was very informative and they arranged for a technician to come to my home later the same day. The technician was prompt, courteous, professional, and well informed and seemed confident that the treatment was successful. A bit pricey but I would definitely hire them again.

"The tech came out in a prompt manner. Checked everything out . He took his time and was not in any rush to move on. I was impressed. He was friendly and knew his stuff. Explained that the mud structure I was seeing was mud wasps and not termites. I had scraped it off but he knew right away by looking at what was left of it. I give these people high grades. They are not out to make a buck but telling a fabrication or story. I would use them again in a heart beat. :) No charge for the inspection. Joe

"He was great. Took my call at lunch and was at the house that night. Besides being very thorough (2hr service call) he explained everything and answered a lot of questions. And.... His truck was "under cover " no big roach painted on the side or stuck to the roof... He was more reasonable in cost than the big companies too. Everything was great start to finish. Will defiantly use again. This is why I always prefer to deal with owner operators locally when we can.

"Dave, Charlie, and Co. are really fantastic. They did work well beyond what they were contracted to do and didn't even consider charging us. They are everything 99.8% of service providers are not: punctual, responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I wish they would start a side business teaching electricians, plumbers, contractors, etc., how to treat people and run their businesses. <br /> <br /> I hope we don't have to use them again until we buy our next home (they also do pest inspections for homebuyers), but I wouldn't even consider calling anyone else if we do. <br /> <br /> I general spend way too much time researching companies and agonizing over whom to call. "The work went on very well. He inspected inside the house and found an ant colony inside. Then went outside and found some there also. Then he sprayed some stuff around it and came back the second time about a month after to do the final application. That did it and there are no more ants. The cost was $300 and I thought that it was a little high but I got rid off ants. He did the job well so we have no complaints. If we had more pest problems then he would definitely be the guy that we would call.

"Initial treatment went fine. This is the type of thing that we'll have to wait and see as the cold weather comes and then next spring. But so far, so good. They alerted us to different things to look for and said they'd come back out if needed. <br /> Just an FYI. For carpenter ant treatment, you will have to stay out of the house during the treatment and for a minimum of two hours after, so you need to plan accordingly. <br />
