We were long term landscaping customers. The price quoted was fair and we contracted with the company to do the job It rained the day after the lawn was hydroseeded and we noticed ponding around the yard and the seeds floating. We took pictures and alerted the company that the grass seeds appeared to be dead. Owner responded that we hadn’t watered enough and he would split cost of reseeding. We never heard from him again, despite another letter. Very disappointing experience. Will not hire again or recommend.

Adam responded quickly via email and we scheduled an appointment for him to scope the job. Estimate was fair. There was a delay in start date which he communicated, no problem. Adam sent care instructions by email. He drove by one day and hydroseeded some bare areas that we had not asked to have done. Professional, good crew, great communication. I highly recommend.

We were trying to correct a sloped back yard suffering from years of neglect. Meetings with reps were all pleasant, punctual and professional. Hard-scaping (low retaining wall, steps along house) came out very nice, and the resurfacing/leveling is fine. Only issue is with the results of the hydroseeding. Perhaps I was expecting too much since the backyard is sloped, but after adding loam and hydroseeding, I was hoping to see something a bit more lush, with fewer bare patches and fewer weeds. They have come back to hydroseed a second time to try to fill in the bare spots, but it is still sparse in areas. I paid for ongoing maintenance throughout the summer, so this review is incomplete. Perhaps the best is to come. Update: Bare patches still there, ongoing battle between grass and weeds. They have been out to apply weedkiller (as part of additional program I paid extra for), but jury is still out. They did do hardscaping very well: I was expecting something more from the loam and hydroseeding.

Work was done mid October which AAA informed me that was not too late. We ended up with a cold remainder of October with snow so I didn’t think Hydroseed would take. Jason said not to worry and that he would come back in Spring to seed bare spots. Early spring there were many bare spots. AAA did come back as promised and I now have a nice new lawn that I’m very satisfied with!

They were great. The work was done very quickly and done well. Overall we are very pleased with how it went and they were a fraction of the cost of the other estimates. The only thing I would do differently would be to not use their hydroseeding company. I was not thrilled with how the grass came in and the quality of the seed. Otherwise it was a great job.

Okay. They charged extra for the aeration machine (which was okay). Threw seed down - not a real solution since they blew off the lawn rather than raked it. None of the seed germinated.

The mulch needs to be described in both sq. ft. and in volume. Meaning how thick it will be when put down. The seed wasn't good. It was a fast growing seed, but not very hardy. It needed a lot of water. The aeration was fine. Roberto needs to improve on what he provides. His workers were hard working, quick and efficient. They were willing to go the extra mile to try to satisfy my needs. But he didn't have the right seed volume.

I was a little surprised, I was a little underwhelmed at what they did. I guess I should have read the fine print a little better. I thought they were gonna do an over seeding with the machine. Actually the grass is growing very well, so I guess it worked. I guess the machine was for aeration. I was expecting a more thorough over seed. They were a little hard to reach to schedule. I didn't get a call from them, then I got an automated greeting, so I emailed them. I had to call twice. The first time was a guys cell number and it gave me the office number, and they eventually got in touch with me, but it took a while to schedule.

Crew arrived as scheduled, worked h****** a very hot,humid day,removed clay soil and spread new sand,loam, regraded entire area to promote appropriate drainage and prevent any standing water.Returned a few days later and hydroseeded backyard and side of house. Crew also removed three -over 6ft tall, 5ft wide burning bushes and replanted along property line as a privacy fence. Grass is growing, a few spots taking longer to fill in. Spoke w/Nat-owner and he agrees to re-seed these areas if needed.Overall good experience and will use again.

I had a septic system installed prior to selling my Mom's home. The septic installer seeded, but I was concerned that grass could grow in July. I called Curtiss about hydroseeding. They looked at the property and suggested that I leave the "septic" seed to grow at this point and call them to re-seed in the fall when I would have more success for the same kind of price. They could have just hydroseeded and I would have paid, but they talked me through the process so I could and did make a good decision, both for the lawn and my pocketbook. Luckily the "septic" service seeding grew grass and the house sold prior to the fall season. I appreciated their honest opinion. I would call them again.
