I had a good experience with Wrought Iron Gate service. I called them to get a second opinion on my entry gate repair. The previous installer wanted to charge for a part that was under warranty. He called the manufacturer and confirmed that my part was covered. He also charged only a minimum for labor (vs, the other company that wanted to charge for a 4 hour install). He was very knowledgeable and didn't mind me asking tons of questions, as I like to learn about the functions and repair of things. The manufacturer took a long time to send the part, but when he received it, was out the next day. I would recommend this service again.

Had Mr Fix it Handyman Services and Construction come and do some minor work around the house. I was very pleased with the gentleman that came to do the work. He was very cooperative and pleasant. I supplied the materials needed for the work performed. He replaced exterior trim on large window above my garage, installed gutter guards and repaired some boards in the fence that had come off. Cuevas Lumber replaced a shared fence on our property almost 9 years ago. Since the job was arranged by the neighbor, I wasn't there to look at details. I thought our gate was installed a bit tight, but it worked, so I left it alone. Over they years things were shifting and this year it got to the point that the gate was almost jammed. It took a bit of effort to find the contact info to the contractor who did the job, and two days after I called them Fidel came over and fixed the gate, cheerfully, perfectly, and under a goodwill warranty - 9 years after the fact. How is that for customer care? How the company stands by its services is probably the best measure of its true quality. It is getting rarer by the day to find people who still care. When you do find them, keep them in your contact list. This guys is a keeper.

They gave me a bid and I called them after that. I was not there when they did the job, and it was completed in a few hours and before I came home. I had also requested them to do a quick repair on the entry gate. It is a wooden gate with a latch on it, and the latch was somewhat askew. Nick showed up right on time, meticulously reviewed the list of items my wife and I had prepared, made sure he understood everything, made suggestions, and then went to work. We thought we had at least eight hours of work for him, but he finished everything in four hours. He was polite and articulate, keeping us informed as he fixed things, and made sure we checked out his work on each task before going on to the next one. In short, he was great. Before Nick left, we made an appointment to have him return in about a month to take on some other tasks. Our only issue with Nick is that his schedule is so crowded (probably because he's so capable) that you may have to schedule an appointment weeks in advance.

We actually received an estimate for the fence 6 months before it ended up being fixed (for a variety of reasons). On Oleg's initial visit for the estimate, he was prompt, friendly, and honest. I walked him through what we needed, and while I asked him questions about fence repair he drew up the estimate. I was amazed that he could give me something in such a quick amount of time, but it was detailed and reasonable. During the 6 months when were not repairing our fence, Oleg was extremely helpful and ridiculously friendly in talking with us about our different options for repairing the fence, including giving us different estimates based on what sized posts could be used. When we were finally ready to get the fence fixed, we called them and they remembered us. After I gave him the contact information for the neighbors sharing the cost (and he had contacted them), we were able to quickly schedule a date. The job ended up taking more than a day. I was a little surprised that they left after the first day without updating me on their progress and telling me when they would be back, but they showed up early the next morning ready to finish the job.
