We had a leak in a toilet line that was a basic fix, but when he got here, the provider found the toilet was not seated properly, and showed us the issue, which has probably existed for several years! We couldve had a disaster in that bathroom eventually. Evidently when the toilet was installed about 7 years ago, it was not properly attached to the floor. In addition, he fixed water line to the refirgerator icemaker, and showed us why the leak in that line occurred. (flimsy material, etc.) Very good job, we are very pleased and will use this plumber again for sure.

We have been using Len the plumber for 20 plus years. We will never use them again. About 10 years ago we noticed water leaking from the bottom of the toilet. It warped the subfloor so after getting that fixed, Len the plumber came out and repaired the toilet. A few years later, the EXACT same thing happened. Of course the "warranty" is only for 90 days...so once again we had to replace the subfloor and Len put in a NEW toilet. Another 6 years go by...we are remodeling the bathroom...and SURPRISE, the has been a slow leak happening for years. This leak was dripping down to a crawl space, we didn't know it was happening for over 6 years. This time, we had to repair ALL the supports and subfloor. After spending a fortune on this floor because a plumber can't seem to do one of the most basic jobs that a plumber does...we finally got a clue.... "Let's not use Leen the Plumber EVER again"

He asked me about the history of the problem and was told that 2 other plumbers had been here for the same thing and it will initially work and then the same problem comes back. He confirmed that the other plumbers had snaked the toilet. He recommended that the toilet be removed from the base so that the seal could be checked/replaced, etc. He found a nail file that had somehow found its way into the depths of the toilet. He did not have to end up replacing the seal. He also adjusted the flush mechanism on 2 other toilets. He and his helper were both neat and courteous. My only complaint is that the price seemed kind of high to me as they were done in an hour. He told me that they charge by the job, not the hour - but the job that was quoted included replacing the seals which he didn't end up having to do. The $233 was after a $25 coupon from their website was used. I guess I saved some money since this time it seems to be fixed properly rather than having the same problem return in short order because the problem wasn't properly diagnosed in the first place.

Eddie was excellent, both in his diagnosing and fixing toilet and in his explanation of what needed to be done and cost. Very knowledgeable, offered options of how to repair, very pleasant, attentive.

Keith (technician) came over next day despite a lot of snow on the roads. Personable. Explained things well. Fixed toilet and faucet quickly and charged reasonable rates.

Plumber worked diligently to correct problem with flange that was installed too low below the floor. It went well and a new toilet that I purchased separately was installed.

Mike squeezed us in right after his vacation. He came on time, was pleasant, professional and quick. He knew exactly what precautions to take so we did not have an unexpected floor with the toilet. He was the nicest, most professional service provided I think I have ever dealt with.

Arrived on time. Quickly made repair. Also provided a full house plumbing assessment. Made additional requested repair immediately.

The service was through home warranty. The guy arrived on time. After analyzing the problem, he went out to get a new flapper for the leaky toilet tank. He came back saying he had to visit a couple of different suppliers to get the right one, for which I appreciate. He cleaned up pretty well. He said he would come back to replace some other parts in the toilet tank, but he never did, and no one answered my phone calls even though I left two voice messages. But since the new flapper fixed the problem, I never pursued this further. At one point, I glanced at the invoice and saw him charging the insurance $200+, which seems a bit excessive for replacing one flapper that costs $15 at most.

Setting up an appointment was very painless. Appointment was made for the next day and they gave a window of 11am-4pm and said that they would give a 30 minute courtesy call before arriving. On the day of the appointment, they called around 11:15am and showed up at around 11:30pm. Sal and Ernest were the repairmen that showed up and right from the start, I was very pleased. They were really courteous and as they came in the front door, they immediately put on booties. They were already off to a good start, especially since it was a rainy day. Sal was super patient and explained everything in detail to me. He took time to listen to all my questions and answered everything thoroughly. He quoted me 2 prices. One price was just to replace the wax seal and another price to replace both the wax seal and flange. When he took off the toilet, he said that he will just replace the wax seal since he thought that was the root cause of the leak. I liked how he tried to choose the cheaper of the 2 quotes, rather than immediately saying that both wax seal and flange needed to be replaced. After he reinstalled the toilet with the new wax seal, we discovered that the toilet was still leaking. Then, he suggested we replace both wax seal and flange, and upon talking out the old flange, we discovered that the previous installation of the flange was done incorrectly. Throughout the whole process, what impressed me the most was the care he took to make sure he didn't create a mess. Every single drop of water, dirt, and debris, Sal immediately wiped it up with a towel. I can tell that he really cared about my property. He even lined the work area with a towel to protect my floors. This is a very professional company and I would highly recommend Sal. The only drawback was the price. It was higher than what I was expecting it to be.

After another company worked on our bathroom toilet, the plumbing exploded the day after Thanksgiving. In a panic, we called Alpha and they came that day. They removed the toilet, fixed the pipes going into the basement, reattached the toilet with the correct seal, inspected the pipes under the bathroom sinks, found more problems and fixed those as well. They were immaculate and very pleasant.

I Found mold growing on the basement ceiling. When I attempted to clean it off, I quickly realized it was due to a leak from the upstairs toilet. I searched Angie's list for a reputable plumber.... (I have had some bad experiences in the past). Found Alpha Plumbing and I submitted a form thru their website for them to contact me. This was at about 6:45AM and they do not open for business until 8AM, so I figured that I would hopefully get a response sometime by noon. To my surprise I received a phone call almost immediately! Brian was at my house right on time, at 8:30AM. He was very professional and very courteous. He knew right away what the problem was and how to best and most affordably fix it. When I made the appointment unfortunately, I wasn't thinking about my wife's work schedule. He had no problem waiting for a few minutes for my wife to shower, before looking at the toilet. While waiting, I asked Brian about a few other issues I was having and asked if he had any experience dealing with the issues. He was very nice and let me pick his brain while waiting. Brian informed me that the screws used to tighten down the flange were too small and that?s why it was loose and leaking. He was able to re-use the flange and just screw it down with bigger and more secure screws. He then bolted down the toilet itself better than before so it doesn?t move at all. Afterwards, Brian left me with some tips for the other issues I was having. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality, professionalism, timeliness, and courtesy of both Alpha Plumbing and my plumber Brian. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will be using them for any future plumbing needs.
