Very well. Matt arrived punctually and at the appointed time, performed a detailed inspection and provided an estimate we agreed to. Matt performed all the required work in less time than he estimated, and left the site clean and organized.

We are still negotiating with them to come back and fix it. They found problems with the incoming water line and the sewer and replaced both. So far it has cost me $14,000.00 and still is not done right. So I am expecting them to come back and take a look at it again. It went from an okay we are going to clean out the sewer line and then we have to remove the toilet to say this is a bigger job and it is going to cost at first $200 the $1800. Then they did a little bit more and then said they was going to have to completely dig a trench and get a permit from the city and dig everything up. It then went from $1800 to $14000.00 all in one day. In the process the took the toilet off my bathroom pedestal and when they put it back on they broke the toilet. Flooded my bedroom rug and I had to go buy a new toilet and have them install it and it still doesn't work properly. The main reason I am upset with them now is they keep promising to come and do the fixes and don't show up. This is the second appointment they have stiffed me on. They don't think it is important because they already have my money. The service isn't rectified yet and I expect them to rectify the problem.

They were just wonderful. First of all they gave me a $300.00 discount because I was over 55. I thought that was so great and still their initial rate was within a $100.00 of the other plumbing company. They were terrific. We own another house and the sewer work was for that house. The tenant in that house was just thrilled. She is a mom with 2 toddlers and they really worked around her well and got in and out really fast. Basically, the whole city of San Francisco has this problem. Everybody is 15 feet from the driveways of their houses out to the middle of the streets and these corroded pipes. These guys must do 100s of these where they have to literally replace the entire city pipe to the city hook-up. They have to saw through concrete on the sidewalk to get to it. It is a huge job. They run cameras in it and everything else destroying a tree in the way because the city requires them to. They did all that stuff and they did it all for a really great price and they were done in 2 days. It was wonderful. They were absolutely on the money. They were right there every time they said they would be and she could manage all her daycare and her job and everything else around them just perfectly. It is really rare that somebody thanks you for sending over the repair man and she did.

Super fast. We chose this company to do the sewer lateral since they were the ones who did the initial estimate provided in our (recently bought) house. We did not look for other estimates. It took 2 or 3 phone/email exchanges to set up a date to work on the sewer lateral. Once that was set, everything went smoothly. The crew came on time and started work as soon as they parked the truck. I went to work and got an email from EBMUD that afternoon telling me the sewer line passed. I came home and the front yard, sidewalk and street looked great. The only evidence that work had happened was a 4x4 square of cement had been replaced (and had a board and orange cone on it).

Steve came by to fix sewer which blew up 1 hour before I had a bunch of family over...so I took off to a restaurant. He did the work in my absence, and it was all done by the time we returned...great!

I had them come out to fix my toilet. I also had sewer problems. I have terracotta pipes in my house. The city had taken cameras down there to see what the problem was. My neighbors hedge leaked into the terracotta pipes. The pipes had broken and needed to be replace with cast iron pipes. They quoted me $2800. When they came here, they got on the job right away! They determined there was more to be done that the cameras didn't show. This extra work would be an extra $1000. They then found more cast iron repairs to be done. They had great heart and understanding. They re cemented the area and everything. The guaranteed that it was done properly, and even had an inspector check the work. They also even promised me reports upon completion of the inspection. They were just unbelievable to work with. They were very efficient, polite and understanding. I cannot compliment them enough!

Joe, James and the entire crew at Bailey Plumbing are the best! I was referred to them for a sewer repair by someone in the building trades. They were very prompt in coming out to diagnose the problem and sending an estimate that evening. I was impressed by their knowledge and honesty. Throughout the 4-day effort, the team was punctual, courteous and professional. Bailey Plumbing did great work, finished the job on time, took care of the city permits/inspections, and left me a very satisfied customer!

It was awesome! When I called Pro Roto i talked with Isaac. He was great and sent out his brother Marco. Marco got here in less then 20 mins, and got the job fixed in 30 mins. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He told me I had a plug at my y connector, snaked my line then cleaned it out as well. Highly recommend these guys when you need your plumbing lines cleaned. I would use them again. Marco also told me they do sewer repair and I would have 100% confidence in using them for that also.

I found this company on Angie's list and gave them a call when we had an underground pipe burst. Ron, who is also the owner, was very quick to respond and came out to access the problem. He gave me the option of either bringing along another person to basically dig in the ground, or I could use my college aged sons to do that part of the job, saving me $. Both my sons assisted doing the digging as he detected where the leak was coming from, and in no time found the broken pipe and fixed it. It was not an expensive job at all. Since I had him at the house (custom home built in 1973 with lots of plumbing issues) I decided to show him my various issues. Over the course of a couple of months, we scheduled all the work and it was done exactly on time, on budget. Ron is the best plumber I have ever worked with. He is professional, easy going, efficient, and an excellent problem solver. He came up with solutions to our issues that were unique to the construction of our home. He is very affordable and gave us estimates that were either the same or less than the estimate. i completely trusted him to do the work at the price he quoted. He was a pleasure to work with and we will only use Ron for our future plumbing needs.

Juan came out pretty much on time however, he did not seem to have a sense of urgency and gave us the impression he would rather be somewhere else. Gave us an estimate on clearing and repairing sewer line and while we were discussing cost (about 10-15 min.) he packed up his tools and presented invoice telling us to 'think it over and call back sometime next week'. The quote was for work over $1,000. One would think he would be interested in the work. Better for us. We found a very competent, professional plumber who provided other options to tackle/resolve our problem. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but so were we without toilets.

They came in like they said they would. It took them exactly the amount of time they said it would. They are good because they observe amenities. They never come in to your house without booties on their feet. They answered all my questions and I was able to talk to Albert which I appreciated. Everyone I?ve talked to and dealt with is so courteous and helpful. They are excellent! I will definitely continue to use them in the future. I wouldn?t go to anybody else.

We'd experienced minor sewer blockages for several years, but this year it got serious. Darryl and Luis from SJ Plumbing came to give an estimate. The lines under the house were leaking and needed to be replaced; in addition they installed a cleanout port just outside the house. This took two days but we still had occasional stoppage problems. They recommended a TV study of the line--it showed root incursion 70' away at the junction to the county sewage line just under the sidewalk. They had to remove the tree and the stump which was grown into the sidewalk as well as the sewer line (big job). They redid the sewer lines in the area, installed a clean out port that region as well. This work took pretty much a week. In addition, they did the concrete work on the sidewalk and a considerable portion of the driveway. Darryl and Luis were prompt and reliable. They gave us their personal numbers if we had problems during the period, cleaned up at the end, and were very courteous. When the driveway concrete was laid they forgot to place a sprinkler line underneath but came back and did it for free with an underground driller. It was a very professional job. We knew where things stood all along. They came by unannounced a month or two later just to check the system.

We had a less-than-great experience with the original plumber we called for our sewer inspection, so we asked our neighbors for trustworthy plumbing referrals. One neighbor recommended EJ Plumbing (which was just down the street from where we lived at the time). EJ Plumbing responded promptly and sent Danny out the next day. He did the inspection and clearly explained what he saw on the camera. He identified a small break in the line and some root intrusion. He then brought out a locator and marked the break, and also discovered a city clean out which had been buried by the landscapers. On top of that -- we had problems with one bathtub draining slowly when the faucet was turned on. Danny mainly works on sewer problems so didn't have the right equipment for my bathtub, so he called another EJ Plumbing employee over. He was nearby and arrived within 10 minutes. He looked at my tub and explained the problem was due to (1) the placement and design of the removable drain guard plate; and (2) high pressure water from the faucet pushing water away from the drain. He removed the drain guard and water drained fine. He recommended we replace the drain guard with a different design. And he didn't even charge me - he said he didn't have to do any work on it, and was happy to share his expertise. :) I appreciated the honesty and the great customer service. Danny quoted a reasonable price for the sewer repairs and we called them back about a week later to have them repair the pipe. We'll call them again if we ever have any other problems.
