The 1977 Brit Awards were the 1st edition of the Brit Awards, annual popular music awards in the United Kingdom. They are run by the British Phonographic Industry and took place on 18 October 1977 at Wembley Conference Centre in London. These awards were to mark the Queen's Silver Jubilee and were for the previous 25 years of her reign.
