i knew it would take 3-4 hours with two guys and noticed an ad for $199 clean up for four hours of work. I purchased it and then was sent a contract stating that it would really only be 3 hours because they were going to bill my family for all the travel time, not only to the property but also back to the shop. I thought that they could still get the work done in the three hours, but when they go tout here, they spent 20 min telling me why it might take longer. Then i asked about the 1 truck haul off that was included in the contract because we had a few larger limbs that needed to be hauled off. I was informed that they wouldn't do any haul off. They did take the bags of leaves but i would've been happy to let the trash service take care of those. I called both phone numbers while the guys were out here to see if we could resolve it while they were out here, but no return call. The main guy that came out said that the owner always promises more than he can deliver so he isn't surprised. Very disapointing

The deal bought in October was 2 men for 2 hrs.- scheduled to be done 12/8. I have a LOT of trees in my backyard beyond the pool area, the area is left natural without grass and I hadn't raked last yrs leaves. Luckily (for me) 99% of this winters leaves had fallen before AJ's guys arrived. They did an outstanding job. My neighbor is going to contact them for her yard.

It went perfect! We bought 4 hours of work for $150 special. Arlean contacted me soon after I ordered the special and a time was arranged. They split the work up into 2 sessions because of timing and weather. They did exactly what we needed and our yard looked great afterwards. All the leaves were raked and removed from the property. Took awhile to arrange a time for service. Disappointed that although the Wilson hours showed Saturdays on the site their first response was a curt, "We do not work Saturdays. Sorry." I've noticed since I first brought this to their attention the hours on the site have been reduced on Saturdays. This was a Big Deal for 8 man hours at $249. The crew showed up on time and worked steadily for 2.5 hours or 7.5 man hours and then had to leave since it was starting to rain. What they did was adequate but I was disappointed as I walked the yard today. None of the lower growth (suckers) had been trimmed from the shrubs, one large Photinia was much taller than the other, and the branches that had been cut had been allowed to drop into the shrubs/hedges which today appeared as dead material I had to remove. They did a good job of edging the jasmine on the walk and driveway. I wish they had cleaned up the jasmine edge next to the brick as well. Originally I planned to have 2 photinias removed but DJ said they could not accomplish that in the time frame so I scaled back the job to trimming, edging, and raking- not a high skilled job. Although I had asked for a quote from DJ for haul away he never responded.

I have a 0 lot yard. Original quote was $35. I do not have trees in my yard. Leaves were only in front yard. The man comes off as real honest, but buyer beware. He is very, very nice and seems eager to work (but do not let the smile fool you). This is not a professional company. The gentlemen ran out of gas while mowing the yard. I supplied him with gas. He did not bring enough bags so I went to Home Depot to purchase bags. He did not even bring a rake to rake the leaves. I provided him with a rake. He ended up picking out 8 bags of leaves. My total cost with everything including bags, gas, and services came to about $75. Not good; considering how much I had to provide and my yard is so little. It takes my regular lawn person 20 minutes to cut the front and backyard and about 15 to edge my yard.

Recent Review: Kris called the day he was to arrive to let me know he was on his way and soon there he was. He and his helper introduced themselves and asked to see the windows, informing me there would be a charge of $7.00 per window over and above the limit of 16 windows per the contract/agreed amount. As I replaced all the windows in the home with energy efficient units three years ago thus each window was easily removed for glass/screen cleaning as well as were the channels. There was only one piece of furniture that required moving and it was replaced exactly where it came from. All work inside my home was clean with no spills or messes. The same went for outside my home as there was no damage to flower gardens or shrubs. The cost for the three extra windows at $7.00 per window was reasonable but there were three windows that did NOT get cleaned which I didn't discover until after they were gone. As two of them were door windows (to garage and laundry room) and the one was a bathroom window, I was not upset at all. In retrospect I wished they would have used my plentiful garden hoses to wash the exterior side of each window and their screens, then removed the screens for quick wipe drying and then clean the class with their brushes and special formula cleaning liquid. As it is there are some cobwebs in corners of the screens that did not get cleaned as I hoped. However, in their defense I can see if a garden hose spray had been used there was likelihood of water getting INSIDE the home thus making a mess. Lastly, I think it would have been a "nice touch" had Kris taken me on a walk around to inspect each window after they were done. Had they done that maybe the "missed" windows would have been caught and a retouch on a couple of screens too could have had a little more work. Their work, however, was very good, done in a timely fashion, very reasonable priced and "yes" I would have them return as well as recommend them.

Recent Review: I never got my plants replaced.This past August 2013, was the last time that I used them since they pulled live plants again and my yard looked very bare. I told him that I no longer needed his services, he never contacted me to apologize for his men's actions. I would recommend him for mowing, but be very leary about what things to trim.
