Ronnie first checked the air flow, determined that the air flow was way too low, then examined our air filter. He informed us that the air filter we were using was making our system work way too hard, and told us where we could find filters for our system. Then he cleaned the evaporater coils. He asked us if we had some cleaner he could use because if he used his it would cost us another $60.00. He then scraped and cleaned the coils for several minutes. Then he added the freon, and stayed to make sure that the system was cooling like it should. He was very helpful, and informative, giving us tips on how to take care of the system to keep it working for a couple more years. We appreciated that he took the time to really examine the system, and to show us how to care for it, rather than just showing up, adding freon, and leaving. For the 2.5 hours he spent at our house, we expected the bill to be much higher. The only drawback was him showing up at noon when he'd told us between 9:30 and 10, but it was worth it, and besides, we'd rather him spend the extra time rather than rushing through a service call. We'd definitely call him again.
