They took the mantle off, removed and took away the old tile, figured out a way to dispense with some of the typical underlayment in order for the new stone hearth to come out flush with the floor, and installed the new tile. I phoned on a Tuesday, I believe. The owner, Dave Beck answered. I described the issue and agreed to his terms. He said he'd have one of two guys here by the end of the week - Friday, by end of day.
