Awesome. These guys did a great job. The driveway looked great afterward, and everything was immaculate. Absolutely no mess or stones where they shouldn't be. Samco gave me a very fair deal. Also, their customer service was outstanding. They were honest and responsive. In the interest of getting the job done sooner rather than later, they offered to move some debris from the driveway when I did not have time. That service was not part of their job, but they offered it up anyway free of charge (on a small job). I will absolutely recommend the company to others looking for paving/gravel services.

I contacted Baumann's to excavate out an old, poorly maintained gravel driveway and install a new driveway. Within a day, I had a call from the owner asking me for details. He went out and e-mailed me an estimate a day or two later. Thanks to the torrential downpours, the work couldn't be done immediately, but as soon as the weather cleared, I got an e-mail indicating they would be doing the work the next day. I was absolutely delighted with the way the work was performed. The driveway looks great, and I look forward to hiring Baumann's again for more landscaping work.

The crew was punctual, professional and speedy; they had a large job to do and finished in only four hours. Their attention to detail was greatly appreciated.

They did a stellar job, and the owner was there when he said he would be. He stayed in touch every step of the way. He went above and beyond what we were expecting him to take care and do the job. He did it like he was dong it for himself. The interaction with him was excellent, and the work turned out excellent. His price was fair.

We own a historic home with a lot of yard...almost 2 acres. We've been using Lester to do our yard work for the past two years. He and his workers have removed all the invasive vines from the property, installed new flower beds and mulch around the trees, and installed a gravel stone driveway. He is currently finishing up a brick pathway. The old path was not graded properly and the bricks were heaving and were pretty ugly. Our house is nearly 200 years old and we wanted to replace the ugly brick with antique brick that would better match our house. Lester and his team removed the ugly brick, regraded and properly installed the new (antique) brick path. it looks awesome and we couldn't be happier with the work. I forgot to mention that he also removed badly constructed wood steps that went to the basement and installed stone steps using old chiseled granite we found on the property. The work that Avalos Stone and Landscaping has done over the past two years has increased the value of our property. it looks beautiful and we look forward to working with Lester in the future. A new stone patio and grape arbor are next on our list.

Overall the project looks great. The stonework looks beautiful and the walkway design was perfectly executed. The project ran a day longer than anticipated, I suspect due to the fact that the stone work crew handled the entire job, instead of the landscaping team working on the removal and green-scape portion of the project. Regardless, they did a good job, with the exception of: there is a good amount of gravel in the area where they were to "excavate" the gravel driveway and replace with topsoil and seed, as well as the tree trimming wasn't able to be completed as quoted, due to the height of the trees and the available equipment at the time of the work being done. The rep was extremely responsive via text and email leading up to the project, and checked in daily on the work as it was being done.

Jose and his team were amazing! He thought of several improved solutions other estimators did not consider, and still came in at or under the budget of others. He thoughtfully designed the proper placement of the pop-ups and suggested constructing the rain-tanks in the lowest and most discrete place in the yard. He suggested edging and fabric for the gravel driveway, and included a substantial amount of gravel for a price approximating other estimates. They worked extremely hard regrading the excavated dirt, cleaning the landscaping, and providing mulch for a great deal. Overall, he was very flexible, expertly designed great solutions, and value-oriented

CS's pricing was competitive, the crew was professional, punctual. The owners are very responsive and care about the projects. They are available by email and phone and were on the job site to check on the work on multiple days/occasions. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day and took care to not disturb our existing landscaping. I would highly recommend Capitol Hardscapes and would use them again.

We recently moved to a large lot that had been neglected for over 20 years. The landscaping was all overgrown or nonexistent, our front yard was a pit of mud, our gravel driveway was rutted and dirty, we had very limited parking, and we had no walkway or hardscaping outside our back door. We engaged Classic Stonescaping to repair and upgrade both the front and back of our property. Mr. Jones provided outstanding service from start to finish. On his initial visit, he listened to my ideas and also made recommendations of his own. He also worked with us to complete a proposal detailing the work that was required by our HOA. He really seemed to have a vision of what our property could be, and he also indicated that his design would be flexible in terms of necessary adjustments required once the work was underway. He then provided a detailed estimate via email and proposed a start date about five weeks out. Classic’s crew showed up at exactly the day and time that was promised, and stayed on the job until all the pieces were complete. The owner was on site for the entire project. They worked hard the whole time, were very polite and were even nice to our dog. In the back yard, they installed a big patio with a stacked stone sitting wall and a stepping stone path and landscaping around it. They were happy to use plants that we already owned along with the ones Mr. Jones had ordered for us. In the front, they re-graded our entire front lawn area, installed drainage pipes, seeded grass, and planted lots of new shrubs and plants. We really like the choices made for our plants and the beds are shaped and mulched nicely. Classic also carved out and laid gravel for a new driveway up to our front door, repaired our existing driveway and constructed a two-car parking area near the road. It’s really pretty! Both areas are set nicely with decorative stones and timbers, are landscaped with lots of plants, and look nicer than I was expecting. At the end of the job they were very prompt about making some small adjustments and final touches, and we settled up for the amount that we had agreed to up front. It was all over within a week and we love the new look. I would definitely recommend them for their professionalism, creativity and the quality of their work.
